Just don't seem to be in the mood for it
The good news though is that the cheque for the endowment policy has finally come through and Mr F popped out to the bank to pay it in today. Once it's cleared I'll shuffle some money around and reassess our goals. Currently I'm thinking we'll make an OP to the mortgage and put the rest in savings.
Put a couple of items on a local FB sale page today and I've already had some interest.
Made a Lentil Ragu from the meal plan for supper last night. As per the reviews, it did need a bit of pepping up but was very tasty and made loads. We have enough for tonight and 2 further portions have gone in the freezer.
Voucher and survey points seem to be adding up - nothing to do with my shopping day this weekend of course :rotfl: I'm thinking I might start keeping these for myself now as my 'earnings'. Our monthly mortgage payments will come down if we make the OP so, if I keep the DD the same or increase it a bit, we'll still be making regular OPs going forward without the voucher contributions.
Loaves and lilies after all :rotfl:

I finally did some painting on the Aston commission :j The bodywork is complete so I've started to put in the smaller details like headlights. That's when the painting really starts to come together and I'm desperate to give people a peek. Can't risk the owner seeing it before Christmas day though - only 105 days to go :rotfl:
MS wise:- did a bit of on-line shopping for bits and pieces that were needed - toothbrush heads for example. So expensive so it pays to shop around a bit
- Waitr0$£ delivered. £11.76 over budget this week, probably because of the ultra-lite shop last week
- leftover Lentil Ragu for lunch
- one of my weekend on-line shopping orders was delivered. A blazer for Mr F. His old one fell to pieces and he needs one for veteran events like Remembrance Sunday. It's a fabulous fit and beautiful fabric. £125 Ja£gar from H0u$£ of Fra$£r reduced from £299. Plus a dressing gown for me £20 reduced from £40. H0u$£ of Fra$£r points, TCB and CP points earned on those
- Butternut Squash & Sage Risotto from the meal plan for supper tonight I think. Plenty of sage in the garden.
Happy Hump Day all

Have spent most of the day painting and only have the wheels to do now on the Aston :T I'm very happy with it, particularly as it has a different type of radiator grill to anything I've painted before and I wasn't sure how I'd get on with it. I emailed it to the customer and she replied straight away to say she is happy with it
I've rustled up a cake to use up some sulky bananas and it's baking as I type - smells yummy.
Another weekend on-line buy arrived - a salt cellar. I've wanted one for ages and, although it was on our Bluewater list, I couldn't find one there that I liked.
Out tonight at my first PTFA event. Drinks at a local pub to welcome this year's new parents. Mr F is out for work today so I think I'll leave him instructions for a fish and chip supper - I'm sure he can manage that :rotfl:

The Aston commission is finished :j I just need to keep looking at it over the next couple of days to make sure I haven't missed anything. Then I'll take it down to my printers to be scanned. That way I'll have a digital image to keep for my portfolio and to put on business cards, etc. Mr F thinks it's my best yet
Mr F was away for a reunion on Friday and Saturday. I went over to Across-the-Lane-Neighbours for a last summer Barbie. Took a bottle of white from the wine rack and some snacks from the freezer. Drank a bit too much and am hungover today - I may not leave the sofa for a while
Hope everyone's having a great weekend.

Hi Wish
yes, I've an E-Type Jag next but I'm hoping to squeeze in a design for our local WI group logo first. We're having a competition to design it.Fortune, sounds really good (apart from the hangover, poor you!).

The Aston is signed and waiting to go to the framers tomorrow. And I have taken some photographs of my next commission (an E-Type Jag) so I can get started on that soon. My local WI is running a competition to design its logo so I'm hoping to squeeze an entry in for that too.
A productive day today:- got the Aston ready for the framers
- 3 loads of washing done and dried on the line
- picked caterpillars (again) in a vain attempt to save the pak choi
- did some PTFA work
- caught up on some housework
- made Summer Courgette & Tomato Gratin from the meal plan for supper. The courgette plant is still producing :rotfl:
Happy hump day all
