Oh yes - it's because it's 5.30 am  Mr F has to go into the office today so it's an early start for us. We've had to get up that early for the last 8 years and it's fabulous that we only have to do so occasionally now.
Yesterdays MSing:- more work on the Aston sketch. Not much left to do on it now - just the tricky bits, wheels and radiator grill
- a fridge lunch to use up lots of sulky bits
- scaled the ironing mountain whilst catching up on some TV. Thought I'd give 'In The Club' a go - quite enjoyed it
- Smoked Trout & Pea Pasta for supper. Waitro$£ substituted smoked trout flakes for the smoked salmon flakes I'd ordered and, although I accepted them, I've struggled to find something to do with them. This recipe was surprisingly good - even Mr F enjoyed it and he's not a big fish fan

Last night I spent 3 hours reading your diary and husband kept asking me what I was laughing at.
I thoroughly enjoyed my little insight into the Fortune Family and want to thank you for a thoroughly entertaining read.
It has also encouraged me to consider trying something myself, although smugly (not really but could come across like that) I am now debt and mortgage free. Not through the hard work you have put in but from a small windfall. However, your way sounds like much more fun.0 -

Hello jojo - what stamina! 3 hours! You deserve an endurance medal for that. Well done on being debt and mortgage free. We've had some windfall help along the way too. What will you be working towards?

I've just stoned and quartered 2 1/2 kilos of plums:eek: That's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. This Plum Sauce had better be worth it.
My day to myself went something like this:- finished the Aston sketch and sent it to the customer
- had a query about another commission. This time a herb painting
- conquered the filing mountain :T I took advantage of Mr F's absence to get into the study
- Waitro$£ delivered - £25.44 under budget. That's because we're living off courgettes, paneer cheese, sweet potatoes and plums!
- made Courgette Lasagne for supper (see)
- made a few gallons of Plum Sauce. Well, nearly. My biggest saucepan isn't big enough to take all the plums so I'm having to reduce some down before I can get more in
- cancelled Yoga, couldn't go because.... I'm lazy and a night in with sole control of the remote and a Baileys was more appealing :rotfl:
Anyone watching 'Should I Eat Meat'. I can't eat very much because it doesn't agree with me - quite glad about that now.
Happy Monday everyone

The plum sauce would go very well with a crispy duck…… (I make a rule never to watch programmes that are likely to put me off my dinner)
I'm on defiling at the moment, filing comes next….
Enjoy the remote - tis a rare thing that I don't have control over much witherMortgage outstanding: [STRIKE]£47,750 (August 2014)[/STRIKE] [STRIKE][/STRIKE]£46,950 (Nov 14)[STRIKE][/STRIKE] £44,900 (June 2015)

Actually, duck is one of the things I can usually tolerate as long as I don't have too much. Mind you, ducks may have become extinct by the time it takes this Plum Sauce to reduce
Defiling sound so much more interesting than filing.
