Cooking is fun sometimes. I am very good at making plain and fruit scones. Thanks to delia's recipe anyway lol. My cookies didn't turn out so great though, they were a bit too sticky when trying to make them into cookie shapes!

I fancy baking now! lol. Might see what simple recipes there using the things I have in my house lol.
  • Hey

Not much to report really 2 NSD's as I have no money left  Glad I don't have my pin codes for the CC's or I could get tempted to spend. Had frozen lasagna that I made a week or so ago. Opened a bottle of wine friday night so having a cheeky glass now, I don't really like wine but have a few bottles that people have given me so decided to work my way throught them.

Ooooh gooey cookies sound nice. I may have to bake cookies next time.

4 days till payday  getting there thought xx

Subscribed to your diary. You sound really organised with your cooking. I'm trying to be this month too. Just made a huge lasagne, DS2 and DS3 were here for tea so managed to freeze 5 portions to help feed us this month.

  • Hi

Busy day at work today. Wish i'd of chose a career that gave me bank holidays off. Got to pop into work on my day off tomorrow  Hoping I have enought petrol to last until friday.

Had to buy milk and tobacco  thought I had enought but relised I wouldn't be able to make it last so decided to go while I was out in the car. I've been cutting down on smoking due to trying to make it last so i'll continue to cut down. Me and BF have planned out quit date for 1st Oct so shall spend the next month cutting back to soften the blow.

I've got a nice pizza in the freezer so will have this when BF is home and watch a film. I'd usually think oooh a bank holiday lets treat ourself to a takeaway but no!!! Not any more! :T Getting used to my new budget now and BF doesn't seem to be moaning about lack of take aways anymore. He must have realised I mean business. Must buy another nice pizza when I go food shopping to keep frozen so that I don't crave Dominos!

3 more days till pay day:j Still haven't received my bonus letter so not sure of my figure but hoping for a couple of hundred over my normal wages :j Going to spend some booking a hotel for when I go see the Greenday musical in Birmingham. Luckily the friend I am going with is poor too so a travel lodge should do it. Tickets brought before LBM then the rest will be paid off debt. Not sure which ones yet. Thinking maybe bang it all on the Argos and shift that asap hummmm..... anyway babbling now really should keep these convesations in my brain, I feel I need to type it and publish it to keep me on track thought. Sure you know what I mean. xx

  • Good day off yesterday. Lovely BF treated me to pizza hut then we went to the pub quiz in the evening so he broughtme a couple of shandys :j Ended up using all my petrol in the process though  Had to put £10 in today I've had to borrow this from our joint account but will put it straight back from my petrol budget friday.

Day off tomorrow going to have a day of sorting out the house etc.

Got my bonus figure thought and also my pay slip. £300 bonus = £203 more in my wages. I'm sure the tax man deserves 33% of my hard earnt bonus :mad::mad:. Now I have the figures in I need to figure out what to do with the extra money. Going to keep £50 in my savings account I will use this money to book the greenday hotel and any left over I will save to put towards doing something nice for our anniversary I fancy a trip to the Zoo.

After my bills and pocket money etc leaves £426 towards debt. £180 will come out for my loan that leaves £246 ( the amount of my argos :rotfl: ) think i'm going to split it up and spread it over all the accounts thought inc a bit towards the joint account. Will sort all this out friday night :j Reallllly tempted to allow myself a bit for a little shopping trip but I know i'd only feel guilty after.

Hope everyone has had a good day xx

  • Hey

Pay day tomorrow but me and BF we're both off so decided to go food shopping instead of squeezing it in between our shifts. Only spent £25 - £10 on toiletries my budget for this and £15 on food so £15 still left from my food budget. The reason I didn't buy much food was that I took BF lunch before  I felt like I owed him for lunch the other day and I like going out for food with him gives us time to have a good chat with out distractions. So spent £20 in Frankie and Bennies. This will come out of my entertainement budget.

BF brought a Ipad today :j One day I will have spare cash to buy pretty things with but until then he will just have to let me use his :o

Not much else to report. Pay day tomorrow so will update my sig after work when all money has been distrebuted :T

Money scattered all over and sig updated :j I've left £25 in my overdraft account (this will still be there next payday!!!!) going to keep this as a buffer so I don't go overdrawn. If you see my sig change back up to 1500 pleaseee tell me off.

Brought tobacco today. Our quit date is 1st October so will be cutting down this month.

    Gotta dash

Not much to report. Couple of NSD :j Cut down on the amount of cigarettes I've had yesterday and today :j Only had 3 yesterday would ususally have 6 and only had 2 today so far. 1 before work and 1 on my break I normally have 1 after work but BF will be home about half 7 so decided to wait and have one with him so will be another 3 day :j. I have eaten a lot of my treats from the food shop to take my mind off it thought oops.

Working tomorrow again then out for dinner with friends one is moving to Poland to become a teacher and she has booked a posh restaurant so prob going to end up spending £50 tomorrow on food taxi's and drinks  Will try undeespend thought. I also have a leaving night out next tuesday should be a cheap one as it's in the little rock bar which is cheap :j other than this I don't have anything planned to spend my pocket money on. I'm sure something will crop up thought.
