Hello everyone,
Is it just me or being in ML is the best thing ever that can happen to a pregnant woman? That and a positive pregnancy test, of course.
Had a fantastic day out with 2 friends, done some baking and cleaning and now I'm relaxing with my husband on sofa. Fantastic!
CL you daughter is stunning. I wish I had mine here with us on the sofa and not in my tummy buttttttt not long now. A week on Monday and I'll be a mummy.
Rups and Bamama I'm glad that you don't mind that I might have this baby before you and as you both said, you might give birth before me.
Rups I'm scared of both giving birth naturally and via section. No option is an easy option but we have to keep ourselves focus on the end result: we will have a baby.
Huggies nappies: I've received an email from Huggies saying that they will discontinue their nappies in UK and Ireland. I wonder why? Sad that Pampers won't have competition and therefore they can put their prices up.
Boldies, lots of labor vibes for you:smileyheaBaby Aida is here :j:j:jBaby fund - £3140/£60000 -
I am... sort of. It's too close and too far away at the same time.
Glad you're enjoying ML. I am so bored on mine now. Want to do things but don't have energy. When I do have energy I don't have anything to do or like now... OH is in bed so can't.0 -
Hello, I'm suffering with heart burn
had a pie yesterday and had heart burn but it died down and I forgot about it. About 5
Am I was woken up by a pain down my chest, after a bit of pacing around I threw up what felt like a fire but the pain went. Is this normal?Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -
How on earth have I got to #30 already?!? I seem to have flown through the 30s & it looks like I'm going to fly through the 20s too!
Congratualtions to everyone who's had the arrival of their LO since I posted last. CL the pictures of your little girl are beautiful, I'm so excited about Bean arriving & we have to wait until the end of January!
Aida, thats really odd about Huggies. Just been on the Huggies Club website & apparently they're still going to sell their swimmers, dry nites, pull ups & wipes so it looks like just the nappies they're going to stop selling in the UK & Ireland. I can't really understand itI'm pleased they're keeping the wipes though because their pure wipes are a god send
I've used them even before we got pregnant with Bean as a quick make-up remover & they're the only babywipes I've found that don't irritate my eyes. I really hope they don't get rid of them
Rups I think it's natural to be a little scared/fearful of the unknown. I find it more odd that I'm not scared of labour & have no clue why! The things that's scared me most about pregnancy is the prospect of my belly button popping out :rotfl: Like Marta said, I think it's about being positive about the whole experience, even if you are scared about it all
I seem to have had a really poo day today, quite downWork really got to me but I'm home now, curled up with our xmas tree lights on & they always make me smile. Just a shame DH is at work on a late, although I have the furries to keep me company :T I'm not sleeping brilliantly at the moment. Heartburn & acid is giving me some proper jip at night, I've nearly thrown up a couple of times
I'm just glad I've not had some of the problems you ladies on here have had / are having & I consider myself blessed to have got pregnant too so I do my best not to complain although I do have to let it out sometimes
And I'm off work tomorrow so thats definitely a good thing seen as I get to spend some time chilling with DH before he goes to work.
Oh well. I've completely forgotten what else I wanted to write so I'm going to dissappear for a bit & will probably return later when I remember what I wanted to put :rotfl:

Oh, and baby's weight as estimated by scan is only 8.5 lbs not the even larger amount suggested by my fundal height... apparently I have quite a bit of fluid
(and yeah, I know scan weights are also very approximate but nice to know it's not currently expected to be a 11lbs monster...)0 -

I've been suffering similarly recentlyI get a little bit of heartburn/indigestion during the day but at night I'm getting woken up at least once a night with something similar to you. I've not actually thrown up yet (although I near as damn it did last night!) but I've taken to sleeping with a bucket next to the bed just in case

Sadly very normalI recommend Gaviscon Advance (you can get it on prescription). It tastes awful but does help when taken before bed.

Glad to know I'm not alone its so painful until I manage to throw up some food. I was scared it was something that shouldn't be happening but at least I'm reassured others are going through it too. Thank youNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0
