  • Hello all,

Congrats to anyone thats just given birth and good luck to those that are due in the next couple of days!

Happy 1st December - felt all christmassy yesterday, went to buy some decorations and then got home and realised the tree we have is fibre optic and about 1ft so not even big enough to decorate :( BOO!! Wrote my cards instead!

Just counted - and I have 19 working days left over the next nearly 5 weeks - then 2 weeks holiday and then maternity! Can't get any better!! :)
Newly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!

Good lord, how did I get to the 30's on the list! 8.5 weeks to go for me.

Just got back from a lovely weeks holiday in Devon. Did lots of walking and eating and drinking so going to try and be good over the next few weeks till Xmas.

Back to work on Monday and I'm in the process of looking at whether to buy a business or not - - if I do It'll go through around my due date!! Think I might be a little bit mad as I'd like a bit more time to myself in the last few weeks but that isn't going to happen - DH's business is approaching his busiest time of year, it's my financial end of year and then there's the new business. Oh, and Xmas and a new baby a month after.

Aida - I think slept so well due to relief. I thought I'd panic at the thought of the baby nearly being here but I am so relieved! The end is in sight (yes I know it could still be 5 weeks but it seems closer now :))

    Congratulations on pole position savage!

Moneypenny you do appear to be missing from the list...
  • Morning All - I am boldie:eek: Thanks for doing the list Aida. Had a good sleep of about 6 1/2 hours unbroken last night and then another couple after so that was good. No action here still though. Am about to do a mass sort out of the spare room and move DD1 toys from the lounge to her new room so that we can put the tree up :j

Hopefully I can see some action soon, I'm no more uncomfortable than I have been, so its not bothering me too much, it's just I don't want to go over and be induced (like most I guess). Will have a sweep next Saturday if no action before then.

    Will keep you posted.

Good luck Myatt my due date buddie if you're lurking. And to all the others at the top of the list - hope you are getting the HB you want Savage :)

Nope, we're still waiting for dizsie :) She's on the FB group and is in hospital at the moment being induced.

I haven't checked Facebook, Savage. Hmmm need to keep up with all these tools :D. Thanks for letting me know!

Bamama I slept really bad last night. I keep getting up to pee and then I can't sleep back  Anyhow, not long now.

Jonno start bouncing on that birthing ball to speed up things. I just want to be in the single digits group :D:D:D

Starting buying presents for my family and I found a good deal for Starbucks shops. Not sure if anyone is interested but I bought a £10 card for £5 and if 3 friends are using my referrer link I can get it for free. I've posted my link on the referrer board if anyone would like to use it is post no 133 from LivingSocial £10 Starbucks Giftcard for £5 referral thread thread. I will give that to my mother as she likes to have a coffee from time to time when she's out shopping.

I need to find something for my father and for my DH. I hope I will spot another deal :D

  • Good afternoon ladies. Congrats to all the new mummy's & positive vibes to everyone who are due. Thought I had better make a post as I'm now number 4 on the list

I haven't been too great since starting ML, developed SPD & have been in absolute agony. It has eased over the last couple of days though. Saw Dr & Midwife on Thursday as babba is apparently on the large side, they have decided to wait until next Thursday & then recommend inducing to be on the safe side. Hopefully baby will make an appearance before then :)

Going to try & get out for a while later as I'm going stir crazy sat at home, DH has started his leave early to help about the house & I'll feel more at ease with him around.

Hugs to you all & I'll keep you posted xxx

Hello cazza. I wouldn't be too worried about the predicted size, all the people I've heard of where there have been 'concerns' over size (both big and small!) have been wildly inaccurate. I'm measuring pretty big bump-wise but not bothered. Hope baby gets a move on though and you can avoid induction!
  • Savage - I agree with you, since the mw starting measuring my bump the predicted size of baby has gone up & down!! I'm really not too worried as I would prefer to have a baby on the larger side than smaller. I think the Dr is more concerned about the discomfort I'm in due to the SPD.

The midwife is also going to call to my home on Monday, which is my due date, to do an internal examination & maybe's a sweep.

I've also just realised that I haven't packed anything to give birth in & don't really have anything suitable at home so am nipping into town to try & find a cheapish button down nightie that will cover my butt :)
