Bamama, I started feeling more pressure in the cervix once baby started to engage, now when I walk I feel like something is hitting there, maybe the head?

This last week I have been having all the symptoms I have not had during the pregnancy, lol: heartburn, a bit sick, getting up a few times for a wee, light sleep, vivid dreams... at least I [might] only have a couple of weeks to go!!

I lost the thread, I've been looking in the wrong place all week and here it is! You would think the <12 thread, 12-24 week and this one would be kept together but apparently not lol!

morning ladies. well afternoon now. how are you all? my god some of you are up so early. i have been getting up late but of course with millions of wee breaks in between. i laughed this morning at around 5 am and remembered someone's comment here about being like a tortoise when getting up. such a mission. i have around 4 steps and even then when i get up, i am like ouch.lol

bamama hope you are resting. i am like you. with the dreams. i dream every bloody day!!! today i was having such random dreams about our place getting burgled and my heart was beating super fast when i got up! it was bizarre, then i started worrying that as my heart was so fast, hope the baby was ok. baby as moving so was ok. phew. but then had more dreams and i am all dreamed out now..

our hot water is not working and ifeel so yuck as weirdly when things are not working, you need them more. my hair is greasy and i just need a wash. yesterday i managed quickly but still its cold so i cant be bothered so waiting for my inlaws to finish their shopping in croydon so can go to theirs for a shower. how stupid! sigh.. i asked dh to call the boiler guys but dh is so funny like that, when there is a 0844 number, he wont call and email and that takes forever, so today i was ready to just use my mobile and ring as i cant wait. grrr

so sitting in bed still as its cold.

oh i am going to ask my gp tomorrow about that raspberry thing, i bought the capsules from someone but havent started as feel a bit weird about them. i asked th midwife and she didnt have the foggiest so will ask the gp tomorrow.

For once actually i was having a productive day ( tho i am still in my pyjamas) cleaning and more cleaning, this little one of mine, cant stop moving, i start to think that with me havin a small belly, she has not space, my OH is 6ft so she might be long, just like DD was.

I took the cot out of the box, and trying to think how to build it, bfore i was a bit teary cos cleaning i found my wedding photo album. The cot has cheered me up tho.

Rups, i understand, i have showers ( sometimes) or DD has baths at nannys house because the heating in my toilet does not work and it is freaking freezing. BG is putting a new meter for free in two weeks, i won the case !!

queen, ohh sorry you dont sleep well, the worse thing it can happen to me is not being able to sleep.

I think is a cold and sugary drink too to wake baby up.

No rest for the wicked Rups. I'm cleaning out the hamster before I go to town. Then I think I'll have a look an see if I can do anything in the babies room.

Morocha, I really admire your strength. I'm an emotional mess but don't have any of the problems you are facing!

I am hoping it is baby getting ready. Shall see what the midwife says tomorrow.

A couple of years ago our boiler stopped working and as we were renting back then, it took about a week for the landlord to get it sorted. It was awful!!! We ended up filling the bath or a big washing bowl (for a quick clean up) with boiling water from the kettle and as many pot pans as we could, then mixing that with the cold water until it was ok. I hate cold water. I like my showers warm!!

The News said that this winter might be the coldest winter in a Century!!

Still here, not gone to town yet, next door are having scaffold put up and some of it comes into our space so I'm sneakily supervising them, oh and filing my face with food!

Rups - what a nightmare time of year to have no hot water or heating. I keep bugging DH to get our boiler serviced as its way over due. Hope you get sorted soon.

ohh bamama, i think i am sort of programed to deal with sh** situations, I never had an easy life or family life at home when little, so i have a very strong sense of coping/dealing with things. I try to remind myself of my blessing tho i am going thu a tough time, and there are many, my beautiful Jessica and my baby being born soon, having Oh's parents that are like mine and lots of family abroad waiting for me every time i go back. I have food on the table, clothes, a house and some money although not much in the bank lol...I am better off than millions of people in this world.
