I know :( sometimes il take a tiny across the body bag, with just enough space to shove my keys/purse/phone in and I wear it under my jacket but more often than not everything gets shoved in the one bag.

I have so many nice bags in storage now!

Blood pressure was fine. Actually quite high for me. Did warn the doc that it might be cause OH had annoyed me. Won't go into details...

Had my flu jab while I was there. Also booked in for asthma clinic Tuesday and will have my whooping cough jab then.

Savage was it you who said they had asthma? I will ask about the g+a and pumps and stuff and let you know x

 I had not thought of most of that. Thank you ikkle, that list is very helpful.
I also plan to use the baby carrier more than the pram, I might give a go first to a few old handbags/laptop bags/holdalls/backpacks before deciding what style would suit me best. In the meantime, the Boots one actually matches my pram and I have not decided what I would take with the carrier yet... gosh, the closer it gets, the more I realize that I have not planned or thought about much of the stuff!
Also thinking of buying a sling for the house, my carrier is not that handy to put in and out quickly I think. But I will wait until she is here and she if she enjoys more being carried, put in the bouncer or what.

hmm yes so true about keeping an eye on everything. i might have a little one to have the keys in there, and phone so i am not faffing about looking for it in the baby bag. hmmm or could see if the bag has pockets for that. :) i have the bit on the buggy for the shopping so that is great, just dont want to end up carrying so much as i always do lol.

My last day of work tomorrow too, then a week and a day before my section. I'm booked in for a hair cut and waxing and lunch with 2 friends who both have 10 week old babies.

I didn't buy a changing bag with DD. I got 1 with my travel system and I gave my mum the free Boots one for when she had DD. I never really got the "Mummy Bag" thing. I carry my handbag and the changing bag hangs from the pram.

I'm ready for a week's rest and looking forward to babies arrival. DD is 2 this weekend, so want her to have a nice weekend before the baby is here. When I ask her what she wants for her birthday she says a cake, 2 candles and balloons. Glad she's easily pleased!

QueenB, maybe they want to do it earlier. There's a limit period to do 4D scans because after certain week (I think it was the 28th) the baby is quite big and you might or might not get a good quality scan. As they charge you for that and its purpose is usually to see the face, and not for medical reasons, in their websites they usually say that 4D scans can be done between certain weeks, maybe you are too close to their "limit"?

Rang up today and they want to move it because the somographer is unavailable that day, so we are going next Thursday night. I will be 27+6 instead of 28+1 so not much change,I was so worried that they were not going to be able to fit me in.

Welcome to maternity leave Bamama :D

Re changing bags I also have a babymoov bag, the free boots one and the matching one to my travel system, all different sizes so going to wait until baby is here then see what works best. I was wondering if I wold bin off having my own bag too and morph with the baby one, hmmmmm!

Had some good news today, found out that I will definetly have a job to go back to after mat leave which is great, get full mat benefits now. Guess we might have to start looking at some nurseries :(

Thanks Queen_B :) haven't had much peace yet. Everyone has been ringing to see if I'm ok.

Sorry I'm not joining in the bag talk. I'm gonna use whatever I can get my hands on lol. I've got one that my eldest step-sister has given me.

I'd like to ask if I'm being a bit daft but... I haven't bought in any milk powder, new bottles or dummies. Feeling a bit like I'm under prepared but don't want to waste money on things I think think I'll use.
