i would like to ask what changing bag have you bought and how much have you spent ? If you dont mind telling us, of course.
    I bought this http://www.boots.com/en/Koto-Leatherette-Baby-Changing-Bag-Brown_1022162/
Paid £36 with some discount. Arrived yesterday but i am not crazy in love with it, somehow it feels heavy, and no, i am not a whimp lol... i just think that once i have baby stuff in it, it will so heavy that i will always have it attached to my pram and then worry if it because it is heavy, it will not last long and break. I am thinking of sending it back.
With dd i spent £45 and bought a Vertabaudet bag, it was lovely but again like big and i hated it it, ended up getting rid of it as soon as i could and using my normal/ big handbag with few things in it.
I am really not into the typical mama bag.

I haven't bought any, I have the Boots free one, enough for me to put a couple of nappies, a bottle, mini carton of milk, a pack of wipes and one sleepsuit just in case. What else do you need? ( honest question, not rhetoric). I think anything else would probably be in my hand bag, and when I she starts eating I'll think about it or just take a plastic bag with her food. I plan to bf, so I don't think I need more than one mini pack of emergency milk. I haven't got a clue to be honest.

that one was on my list, Rups, it is lovely...
Marta, Well, i dont like the boots free one and i want to have a bag that i like and take everywhere because it will be my only bag for a few years. I have done the whole using my own handbags and have an extra sleeping suit, a few nappies, the wipes, a dummy, some toys...but i did not like the whole not enough pockets to have everything tidy and i have breastfed DD so i am taking into account powder or bottles, bottle warmer pockets etc..
I want one that it will last well, do the job of holding everything in place and tidy even my purse and can be attached to the pram.

oh gosh yes the handbag. i will still have mine. :) i hope the buggy can take all that. hahaha. i intend to bf as well so we shall see as we go along what to stuff in there and what not. :) trial and error type of thing. The bag came with a changing mat so its handy. also pockets everywhere and also came with a plastic medicine type bag to put stuff in. very handy bag actually. its such a nice colour as well and will match with my red buggy. :)

    My bag has
8 nappies (sounds a lot but breastfed babies sure can poop)
    wipes
    2 vests
2 sleepsuits (breast milk can spray everywhere and soak clothes! not to mention sick or nappy leaking incidents)
    a spare dummy
    small sudocrem
    his red book
    colic medicine
    a bottle
    a carton of formula
    breast pads
    a toy
a bib/muslin for wiping his face after feeds
Food bags dor clothes that have been wee'd/poo'd/sicked upon.

erm... well I'm not a bag person at the best of times, and as I plan on using a sling rather than a buggy most of the time I want a backpack not a buggy-designed bag. I also find over shoulder bags annoying.

So my choice came down to a Pacapod backpack or a BabyMule.
I bought the BabyMule first, then decided it wasn't as great as I'd hoped, bought the Pacapod, decided the BabyMule, while not perfect, was better than the Pacapod, and sent the Pacapod back.

Both a bit on the pricey side but well made and flexible so they don't have to be baby-specific.

My bubs is older now but usually I carry, 2-3 nappies (reusable so slightly bulkier) wipes, and wet bag. Water beaker, pots with snacks in, bibs, change of vest/trousers and top, 2-3 small toys, spare dummies. Bottle and powder pot for formula. My purse, phone, keys, lip balm. Now it's getting colder I carry spare mittens too as he uses his teeth to pull them off.

When he was younger I carried the above, minus the snacks and beaker. But normally 2 bottles, and flask of boiled water for making up feeds fresh.

I don't carry a handbag as keeping an eye on one is hard enough :o

Thanks for the coments, i wont use a handbag for exactly the same reason, it is difficult to keep an eye on so many things, pram, baby, changing bag... i have said goodbye to my handbags when dd was born, 5 year later i have to do the same things, thats why i wanted to see what everybody else is using :).
savage, i like the backpacks, really nice they are.
