hope all your scans go well. you get to see your little one. i wished that once and then thought may be i shouldnt wish that. some people are lucky in other hospitals as they get offered 3 scans but i had 2. little one hates any sort of monitors so today when the lady had only put the sensors for the EGC on me, it started kicking. hates them. lol.

thanks bamama, i tried to laugh it off but whenever i tell her something, she always starts talking about my weight and saying how hard i will find it to give birth. grrr. and the connection with palpitations and being fat? i dont know.. lol. the technician who took the egc said it is faster but it can be expected as i am pregnant so i took that as all ok and the bloods will go to the gp in 5 days and the egc too. got some other heart test to do and they will write to me for that. better to be safe than sorry hey?

just want to sit and chill out at home for a bit next week. bamama see how you feel. i couldnt wait till the 30th. i would have really cried as walking for me now is a mission. my mum also reckons i am quite lazy and not exercising enough lol. mums!!

Evening all! 39+2 for me now, every time this baby squirms I am getting excited! I'm off work now, spent yesterday cleaning (very unlike me, I assume it's nesting!) and today I have done a massive online shop to fill the freezer. Was impressively MSE, used a cunning combination of Clubcard vouchers to get a total of £15 off my £90 shop so very pleased with myself there. I did have a slight episode of rage though when it turned out that since I last used their online ordering, Tesco have inexplicably stopped accepting Visa Electron cards on the website. I have sent them a pi$$y email, and now that I read it back it *may* have crossed the line into hysterical pregnant ravings!

The 4th is my last day. Might just see how this week goes and ask to finish early. Boss thought I was finishing Friday anyway lol.

Miss bunbury - tesco have had a hysterical pregnant raving off me this week. Ordered a Moses basket in the club card exchange, they never let me know it had arrived then when I finally went to store to collect they had sent me a changing mat instead, was in store 40 minutes before I found this out, grrrrr! So now I'm trying to get the to send me a Moses basket but they are so impossible to get hold of.

Another moan to be had, I'm supposed to be having a 4D scan on 1st Dec, baby bond have rung me as they need to urgently speak to me about it, I am so agitated, will be fuming if they want to cancel move it, why else would they ring me?? Waaaaaaah!

Rups - sorry to hear your mum is being negative. I've not had palpitations but have been told they are common in pregnancy as we have a lot more blood pumping through us and everything gets squashed as baby is growing.

i hope that goes fast for you hon. my original date was 7th and then i had holidays so chucked those in front and it became the 30th but then i just couldnt handle it and for some reason i feel so much heavier and walk so much slower. i think i chose the right time. had a nice nap today and i never do naps. hope i can sleep later. still have those silly palpitations. weird.

missbunbury, glad you wrote a complaint letter. i wish i could save money on shops. i always forget to use vouchers and we have so many in the kitchen. dh will be livid. oops.

Tescos are not doing a good job are they? they need to be told off. my mil said she asked someone something and they werent bothered at all. lol

I have the odd palpitations here and there too. I can certainly agree that my insides have been well and truly squashed! Roll on my due date of boxing day!:rotfl:

makes sense and blood pumping faster. the technician said that but glad i got it done otherwise would have worried. told doc that i fancied eating soap and he laughed lol. its that specific palmolive one that i love the smell of so much.
