    Morning ladies :)

Still no baby :o and for some reason my brain has decided that I needed to wake up at 430! Grrr! Have got up to watch some telly and have a hot choc, hopefully will get back to sleep in a few hours. Nothing planned for today apart from a haircut (which I was hoping to have to cancel :()

  • I for one am glad they don't allow flowers marta, I'm hugely allergic and some can bring on an instant migrane :(

They don't do tours at our hosp any more either, glad I had one with my last baby!

Hugs littlemoog hopefully something will happen for you soon x x

When do the midwives start telling you if the baby is starting to engage and how heavy the predict the baby will be?

None of them have really told me much other than my bump is a good size and Squirmy has a strong heartbeat.

Mine wrote in my notes that little boy was 4/5th engaged at 31 weeks. He's now 3/5th.

  • Morning all!

    Congratulations Maddie :j

Hope everyone's had a lovely weekend. Think we are ready now. Hubby put car seat in yesterday and bags are all packed and ready to go.

Struggled with shopping yesterday - had to use the trolley to hold myself up as could barely walk. Plus since going to bed last night, my left nipple is so, so tender.

Only have one job to do today at work but it may take a few hours. 10 work days and counting :j

PS Is it too early for decaf coffee and white choccy? So tempted to open my lunch already.

Thanks mlbarrett. Sounds like it doesn't mean too much seems as they are still always on the move.

Moog, you think if we do a group hug we can squeeze the little one out? :)

I had some cramps in bed last night. Only lasted about an hour... drifted off to sleep then.

They don't usually estimate a weight unless you have a late scan for any reason. I had one last week and they estimated 7lb 5oz at 36+5

I am so sore today it is unreal, but it is DS's birthday so they show must go on (even though all I want to do is go back to bed).

Hope you got back to sleep LM :)

Mlbarret, we have a similar EDD, and I don't go food shopping on my own now, maybe to pick up a couple of items, but if I need a trolley I arrange a day with DH when we go after he leaves work. It is getting hard now to do the most.basic tasks. And it is never early for a decaff and chockie!! Lol, I've just had 3 mini croissants with strawberry jam and a cup of tea. :)

The hip pain has returned, idk what I've done but I woke up in the middle of the night with a loud "crack" whilst turning over!! I have physio tomorrow, so it is not bad. I plan to go to the Christmas markets tomorrow and buy some tree decorations with the "baby's 1st Christmas" legend, I will buy one for each grandmother and another one for us. Any good idea for grandparents' Christmas presents?

Then I will try to find some wide fit wellies at Debenhams, I was going to return the ones I bought at barratts but I have to pay postage, almost £7! They costed me £20, so I think I will keep them and see if I can find some other ones before deciding, I thought about making a cut on the top under the "fake sock fabric" that has on top, but I'll see first if I can find something for my calves!!! It's odd, I don't have massive calves but they seem to be at a higher level than what the boot shape allows, the curve they have for that is eempty, then it narrows a bit and that's where my calf is wider. I tried even the Hunters one at the weekend just to see if my problem was I had bought a cheap option, but nope. I managed to put one in, then I could not get it out!!!! Lol, I had my DH pulling out whilst I sat on a bench laughing and the shop assistant looked at me as if I was a crazy woman!!!

I'll also try to buy DH's Christmas presents because once baby is here, he'll have paternity leave and I won't be going on my own, plus idk how I will feel or when this baby will arrive, the bigger I get the less likely it is I would want to walk among lots of people!!! The rest we can buy together, but I want his sorted in the next couple of weeks.

    morning ladies..

good luck littlemoog. sending some strong labour vibes your way. xxx good luck to the boldies too. :)
bamama like you whenever i go to see midwife or doctor, they check my wee, check my bp and then measure bump (say its ok) and then that is it! I will ask doc as see him next week. I suppose if they havent told us anything, could assume that baby is head down? I have no idea. i need to know as well.

am extremely tired. cant sleep anymore. its worse than before and belly is very uncomfy. find myself on my back and on the right side as left is getting so uncomfy.

saw my mum yest as a family do and there were so many people around, i got so overwhelmed and tired. she said looking at me, she reckons the baby will come early. eek!

am in pain today. back hurts. :(
