bamama the scans aren't accurate anyway, we were told Jakey would be around 6.5lb and short. He was 9lb and over the 99.6th centile for height.

Lol Ikkle... from what everyones said, they aren't accurate. Just feel a bit left out as I never have anything to report.

and me. lol.. its a good thing i dont have to go back for scans as they only recommend that if something is wrong, so phew. but in terms of midwife and doc meetings, it is the same. lol. i have started carying my notes with me as i am scared lol.

i just cant wait for this week to be over. am so fed up at work. the cover was supposed to be in today and she is working from home and told me as i was near work. so now my manager has asked if i can come in on wednesday when iwas supposed to work from home. I dont want to. as it is, my back is hurting and i told him i can try but am in pain now. i am annoyed.

Before scans were the norm, my mum was told she was having a second small girl. There was a bit of shock when my brother came out (and he was bigger than I was!)

In your notes you will have a spot for whether or not baby is engaged, as well as something to do with the fluid. I was 3/5 engaged at 35 weeks, no one mentioned engaged until then (I think they write 'free' or some medical abbreviation!), but if you ask they'll tell you where the head is (I think I was always told baby was head down without asking).

They won't predict a weight for you I don't think, it's too unreliable. I have a custom growth chart thingy in my notes (where they mark the fundal measurement each time) which no-one seems to pay too much attention to, it shows that I'm due a monster at the moment.

Couldn't see anything in my notes other than head down... well ceph. She did grab me right down near the pubic bone and said the baby's head was there.

i will check my notes later to see what she has written. so much in there..

35 weeks today and am really struggling.:(

My notes say engaged, but not in the text they write in the box but in the line above, where they write also how many weeks you are and the size of the belly.
