Pessary was nothing. Can ask a nurse to do it for you if you like but... it was like putting a tampon in... but more comfortable!
  • I totally hate the increased discharge. I wear really thin panty liners during the day and then just change if need to in the evening at home.

Money penny, I've not used a hot water bottle yet but had plenty of warm baths, find them really soothing and relaxing.

Rups, I love your pram. I had a push of that pram around mothercare, was on my list, we would have gone for the red one as I have a thing about red prams.

AFM my bump has been really sore and uncomfortable today. Also had a strange pressure sensation like I constantly need a poo, sorry TMI. Wondered if baby was lying in a funny position?

My boobs have not grown a lot, just about a size up at the minute. But my nipples have doubled their size in my opinion. Anyone has had the same experience?

My boobs decided to grow 2 cup sizes within a week when I was around 14 weeks. Not grown since but my nipples look like they have got bigger, more the areola (sp?) rather than my actual nipple if that makes sense.

  • Queen - I get days like that where the baby lies awkwardly - like today. Yesterday I was convinced it had gone head down as there was no pain in the upper part of the uterus. Today I think it's trying to cram every bit of itself under my right rib! I get strange pressures but usually on my bladder :/

Oh I get the bladder dancing as well, started the other night just as I was going to bed, ended up getting up for a wee 3 times in less than half hour.

My coccyx is feeling a bit tender too so I'm sure the baby is hiding towards my back and squishing everything. :D

    Hello

Rups: Is not too late to use stretch marks creams. You can prevent future ones if you use it now.

I really like the red and the sand colour pram. Which one you've ordered in the end?
If you had some, would you have eaten it? And does it have to be palmolive?

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Don't give Rups ideas :D.

I'm officially in my 33 week today. Feel OK and really really happy as in 4 weeks time the pregnancy will be considered full term (which is at 37 weeks, right?) :j:j:j.

I had both a few weeks ago, try and get them to put both in the same arm so you have a side left to sleep on! I hardly felt the flu one, and the other one was just a sharp scratch, like when you get blood taken, but it was over very quickly. Sore arms and felt a bit fevery for a couple of days though.

My midwife said that they'll do one in each arm! I didn't even think about the sleeping thing so will definitely ask for them in the same arm! Thank you for mentioning it. I wouldn't have twigged otherwise.

ladyM, when i went to see the GP a while back with thrush, she said she would write me a prescrp for a pessary and i made a foul facial expression and said am scared of putting it up me, and to my horror she replied 'well you have had your husband's p---s up there, havent you?'. i was so shocked and speechless. i never went to see her again. cow!! i used the cream and it went away with that. also drank lots of cranberry juice. yuck.

good luck with the jabs. you will be fine. i hate needles too. had my whooping cough one 2 weeks ago and arm hurt for 3 days and today had my flu one, arm is a bit sore and just feel so tired. you will be fine..

so i just asked my cousin to get us the buggy and the car seat. woo hoo. that was the last urgent things to get as we hadnt decided on a car seat. hopefully we get a good discount on it. :)

There's a big difference between having your husband's p***s up there and having to put a pessary up there. By that GP's logic, all women should be fine with tampons etc. *sigh* Some GPs are a little bit stupid, I swear.

Lady M - it feels just like someone pricked you with a needle! I got over my fear of needles and blood tests when I realised I regularly stab my fingers when sewing (by accident) and think nothing of it - it's really not much different. Arms were sore the day after, more the whooping cough one that came up quite a bit and was red and lumpy - took a week to go down! Flu not so bad. I didn't feel feverish at all after the flu but I know it affects people differently.

I'm not sure how the jabs will affect me because I have M.E so have reactions to things really easily. I'm hoping that they'll be okay as I feel so rubbish at the moment that I don't want the jabs to make me feel worse!

I was OK with mine aside from really tired after so don't expect to do anything for the rest of the day!
  • Quick fly by post, as I need to get ready to go and see the physio (fingers crossed she's actually nice this time!)

However, just wanted to say to LadyM that I also have M.E. and tend to react to jabs, but I wasn't too bad with the 'flu jab. The arm was sore for the day and overnight, I got a slight headache for a couple of hours (so I rested for a bit and took some painkillers and it went) and had a slight sore throat for a couple of days (and it was very slight, similar to what I get if I've overdone things a little). No feverishness, which is always the thing I find most draining. Hope they go well for you.:)
  • Morning all, congrats to all the new mummys getting cuddles and newbies...
