Ooh good luck cake, exciting times :)

Busy day for me today, mw at 10, then meeting a work friend for coffee at a lovely cake shop :) then I need to dash round Tescos before I go for coffee with some of my NCT ladies at our postnatal support group. None of us who are going are actually postnatal yet, but they scheduled these sessions as part of our class starting a few weeks ago, so we thought we'd better go!

Still got loads of housework to do to get the house ready for all our visitors after the birth, but I did most of the sorting out yesterday and got up to date on the laundry. Still need to deep clean the downstairs and the bathroom upstairs, I think that will be tomorrow's job, and then I can get DH to put the hoover round after work as it hurts my back :o hopefully beanie will stay put til I get it all done!

Good luck Cake - be thinking of you! You'll be grand!

LittleMoog - I hate to say after you denied it yesterday but I reckon you ARE nesting! All that cleaning to get ready for after the birth - even if you don't want to do it - counts as nesting! Lol! have a lovely day and lots of yummy cakes!

Aida - very jealous that your hip pain is better today. Am really glad for you - wish mine would clear up. PGP has taken a turn for the worse and DH has looked out my crutches. May be onthem by the end of the week. Such a shame - I thought I was doing quite well this time round. Am now at the stage where I have to get out of bed just to turn over!

If the cleaning had amounted to more than writing a list I'd agree Neph! I was hoping I'd get the overwhelming urge to clean that you hear about, but I just want to get things sorted now to make it easier later! I'm still hating it and having to force myself to get off the sofa! ;)

Nephthys Is soooo horrable and painful that I can't believe some pregnant women have to cope with such a pain on a daily basis!!! So sorry that you are in pain. Do you wake up in pain as well?

I never got the nesting instinct last time - certainly no overwhelming urge! I had DH making me clean the weekend before he arrived! My overwhelming urge was to sit down and relax! lol!

Yup - takes me a little while to get out of bed and stand up straight never mind walk. It hurts throughout the day but the worst times are if I have been too still for too long so have to leave my desk and go for a walk every now and again (usually to the bathroom but that's a whole other complaint! Lol!). Nightime and getting out of bed are definitely the worst. i am however, doing better than with DS. With him I was on crutches by 27 weeks and I just passed that at the weekend and haven't given in to using them yet! :D

However much it hurts I just keep telling myself that it's temporary and that I get to have a baby at the end of it. Plenty of women with PGP are in wheelchairs and everything so I'm doing ok at this stage! I also know too many people would love to be in my position even with the pain! And I am grateful everyday for this opportunity!

    Wow this thread moves quick!
When is the nesting supposed to start? I'm not even half way and I feel the need to clean the entire house, not actually done anything mind!
Feeling very much in a daze today, there's so many things whizzing around my brain its hard to keep up! First things first though...Food!! xx

:( but I like the way you think! We are soooo fortunate being pregnant and I would prefer to be in pain than not being pregnant.

How many weeks till your maternity pay.

Vitamin K Just got an email from one of the many weekly newsletter and was saying that is now time to think about Vitamin K whether I want to give my baby a suppliment of that. Any thoughts of why or why not to give our little ones Vitamin K? I'm reserching now about it but any thoughs will help...
