Ooo Cake how exciting ^^ have you been having them through the night? Hope you managed some sleep

savage - last time I went to the docs they told me I was being sent a letter for asthma clinic... haven't had one yet. I need a new ventolin pump and I wanna know if it's ok to take with the gas+air... or if I'm not using gas+air, as I'm likely to have some sort if attack, if there's anything else I can/will be given.

Hi CL, no theyre not identical. 2 seperate sacs.

Bamama, had them on and off through the night but they woke me up in the end they were so strong. Managed some sleep so wasnt too bad.

Going to ring the hospital in a min if I can find the number! My green notes are in DHs car and hes at work til 10.30am. I just dont want to go in and be told Im not in labour, its BHs and to go home. On the contraction timer they are averaging every 4 or 5 mins and lasting almost 2 mins each time. Only thing is theyre not mega painful, more like period cramps and mostly in my back. Any suggestions?

Ooh good luck Cake, hope it is labour. Have you had children before? If you'd just been having one I'd have suggested waiting for a while but as its twins it's maybe better to get checked out.

Can't believe it's finally my due date :j. No signs of anything happening here though

I'm annoyed with my OH today, I asked him to go up to the loft on Thursday to see if my breast pump was up there but he said he'd do it on Friday night, which he hasn't. The Medula Swing has now went up to £100 on Amazon :mad: so if my old one isn't there I'll have to buy a new one.

Hi scottishchick, first children. Rang the hospital and they said as its twins and i have cholestasis to go in to get checked. Called DH so hes now on his way home from work

Happy due date. Bummer about the breast pump, hope he finds it

Been ages since I posted, but I do read everyday!

Welcome to bikerchick...we share the same due date.

Afm I can't believe how quickly time is flying.. The first few weeks of pregnancy seemed to drag loads now it feels like I'm in a time machine and I've still got 12.5 weeks to go! I must sort out my hospital bag soon, don't even have a changing bag for the baby.
I'm still not really enjoying being pregnant, but am starting to feel less faint all the time. I've also been hit by the realisation lately of what my body is doing and what it's capable of- it really is a miracle and I feel very privileged.
All the talk of food on this thread makes me hungry all the time though... I know I'm eating far more than I should be... In my head I have will power and think about eating less but when it comes to it I just keep eating! DH is downstairs now making us bacon rolls for breakfast

I hope you managed to have a good chat with your oh rups, I've only been married 2 years (although we have been together 10 years in total) so can only echo what others have already said-sounds a cliche but communication really is the key.

Anyway, have a great day ladies, I'm off to work at 12 for a lovely 10 hour shift- I hate shifts, they wipe me out... But at least we get an extra hour in bed tonight with the clocks changing!!

I'm super excited today because my hospital bag is now packed and my little man's pram has just arrived! Going to pick up a few last bits and bobs today. I started yesterday but me, being me, nearly fainted in Asda. About half a dozen employees came running over with more water than I could drink, bless them. My Sister's a nurse and she checked my BP when I got home and it was low so I was naughty and had a big fat McDonalds and felt much better. I'll be carrying round a bag full of granola bars today though just in case!
