Just back from seeing MW. Demolishing a punnet of raspberries.

My bump graph is just above the 50th centile. Gotta book my jabs with the GP myself. Gonna ask about my asthma pump too.

Got to see the birth centre. 3 double bed rooms, 1 single (with a camp bed too) and 1 birth pool. Dibs on the pool ^^

Did you enjoy your omlette Rups?

  • Lots of good advice on here Rups, cant really add anything to it. It does sound like he wants to work on communicating too though so thats a good thing

Cant remember who was asking about consultants. Mine just says, yes everything was fine with the scan, see you in 4 weeks . The midwife always does my bloods and listens to HBs etc so she actually does more than the consultant!

    MrsHaworth, congrats on team blue!

AFM, had lots of BHs yesterday all day long. Not regular though, were varying between every 15 & 25 mins. With a few 8 mins thrown in for good measure. And today they are more regular, around 5 and 8 at the minute. Theyre getting more and more uncomfortable too . No idea when I should think about ringing the midwife tho!

  • Rups - glad to hear things have calmed down a bit now. Just keep talking is my advice, and also do bear in mind that we kind of are quite annoying with our constant whining, I keep catching myself whining about whining! Obviously our other halves need to just put up with us for the most part, but it's no wonder they get wound up sometimes, I think it's easy for us to forget that they are going through many of the same stresses and worries as we are, albeit without the physical side of things.

I've had a long day today, lots of stress at work followed by a REALLY bad driving lesson, did roundabouts for the first time and I swear to god I thought I was gonna die, the instructor had to grab the wheel off me at one point! Got home, burst into tears, most unimpressive! Still though, it'll be better next time.

I am due ONE MONTH FROM TODAY!!! Can't quite believe it, to begin with the time was dragging so badly, I was feeling like I had forever to prepare but now the weeks are running away with me! I have got my mum back here for the winter now though and she is going to help me get the last push done, I've bought a new washer/drier so this weekend's mission is to wash all the baby clothes and sort them out ready, how exciting! Do you all reckon it's an OK time to do this now? It'll mean they'll be sat about for five weeks probably but I don't want to leave it any later in case the baby decides to make an early appearance.

Am suffering with aches in the general pelvic region today, walking seems to be getting much more difficult and any movement that involves legs apart (STEADY ladies I mean like going up the stairs and the like!) makes my whole pelvis feel painful and wobbly *sigh*

Sounds like baby engaging Miss Bunbury! I'm also a month off due date :)

I'm busy sorting through the baby's clothes with the intention of washing them all tomorrow (those I haven't washed already at any rate) - I can't believe the variation in size, it's just bloomin' ridiculous! I'm only doing the ones labelled 0-3 months. Some look like they will fit a newborn, others look like they'll fit a bloomin' giant!
  • Its very quiet on here lately! Im on the contraction timer again. They are very uncomfortable but dont seem regular enough :(

Morning Cake. Exciting that you're having contractions! You've done well to carry twins this far! I take it the girls aren't identical or you'd be booked in for a section? Good luck and keep us updated!

My DD was up at 3.30 and then 6.30 for the day. I'm so knackered. After me working 40 hours Mon - Fri, she decides she wants an early rise when I want a lie in.
