haha if i say it has broken, he will know its me as we have argued about it. yep argued about a stupid freezer. i have left it now..

oh yes i remember HR saying to choose a room in the new building in case i dont feel well, i can go and rest in.. i would feel weird as the new rooms are so weird, people can see inside. lol. i just want time off and not a sicky or use my holidays lol im being tight on using holidays now esp as iknow i can leave earlier.

Build a fort? Lol! Don't let feeling weird cause people can see you put you off. A quiet 5 min can make a difference, take a newspaper or a book and read a page or two. Or sit with a cuppa

Once the baby starts crawling you might have an easier time convincing him to shift it, baby will need the room!

Edit : OH has finally phoned the estate agent, renewed our contract so we're safe until May 10th.

Hi everyone, it is been a while since i wrote here.
Welcome to the newbies, happy mummy cuddles to all new mums and labour vibes for the ones waiting...

I just saw my Mw, everything is going well with baba, and i just had the Flu vaccine, was not expecting that one to be honest but i agreed having this one but i will not have the whooping cough one.
I am still cleaning this house, landlady coming on sunday to see, then the tenancy finishes on the 25th, new house has been cleaned and now is being painted. My Oh is doing everything there while i clean this house. I am tired, and stressed, i had to deal with transfering all the services, changing addresses...how is it possible i have this amount of rubbish in this house ?
Anyway i am 23+5 today... two days for V Day, exciting times ahead. !

morocha, glad to know your mw went well. why wont you take the whooping cough one out of interest? i see the gp tomorrow and will ask about the flu jab and the whooping cough one.

It scares me, the fact that is new in the UK, so have no feedback tho the MW says they have been using it in American ladies.
Also my little girl will be a February baby, so she will be born at the end of winter... so really do not see much point in getting it if i will be worried about it. She will have some protection from my flu vaccine until she can get her jabs done at 8 weeks.

On the whooping cough thing, I agree that the vaccine is new in the UK, but whooping cough as far as I know isn't seasonal. I know personally two people who have had it recently (about 2 months back?). If babies get it it can be very dangerous for them and the death rate is relatively high.

The vaccine is new to pregnant ladies in the UK, but has been given to babies in their 8 week jabs for a long time. I'm not sure if whooping cough is a seasonal illness - I've had a quick look online and found a few links that suggest it's more common in the summer and autumn, but they're not UK pages.

Whoever was asking about witch hazel, I got 2 bottles from Savers the other day. Cant remember how much they were though, think about £1.50 each but cant be sure

Thank you! Yeah, I like Grace too but DH isn't keen we just can't seem to agree on names! Tbh, we've had other things to deal with as well but we'll need to sit down and decide soon.

Re: witch hazel - I never bought any as I got lots of gauze soaked in witch hazel from hospital. I was told to changed them when changing pads and only to use the gauze for a couple of days as keeping the area dry is better for healing. I was also advised to get some tea tree oil and add it to the bath daily. Not sure if it'd help as only manage to get it yesterday.
