Am having my scan on Monday morningjust in time for the consultant appt on Tuesday. I'll be interested to see the position of baby, his head was low down at the 4d scan. He seems so active all the time so I wonder if his head is still low. It feels like I have a bum at the bottom of my right ribs, well a big round lump.
It's mainly boredom lol, OH is upstairs on xbox again, he was talking to one of the lads from work on the live thing on it yesterday while I was putting the new curtains up and he said to him this is the problem I have with her she won't wait for anything to be done, she doesn't rest she just does things and to an extent he's right but then I don't want to wait 3 weeks while he fits it in around work and his leisure/lazy time.
You sound pretty darn busy yourself though hun.
Enjoy your scan, shows how different babies are as at our 28 week scan they couldn't determine the way he was laying as he did a full body roll and changed positions completely more than once lol. His feet and bum are quite low though as bits of him stick out and all the kicks are down there. My nan made me laugh yesterday she asked me if I was ok so I said yes why she said theres a lump in your stomach and it was bubs lol xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

LMM I know it's weird how quick the time is going now eh? My little man has also wedged what I believe is his bum under my ribs on the right hand side. My bump is really sore there. My LO isn't very active. It bothers me at times but I think it's a combination on my anterior placenta which I think is masking a lot if his movements and the fact that he is a bit lazy
I do worry sometimes as other people say their babies are really active and mine isn't but I just have to think about what's normal for him.
The bag is really good for the price. My DH was asking if I needed to be packing my bags yet. I told him I will start it in the next couple of weeks. Got to finish getting a few bits and stocking up on food and drinks.

Afternoon ladies
Couldn't get hold of the midwife yesterday about my potential UTI, but it seems to have gone away anyway! Feeling much better today on the bladder front, but my bump is so sore, DH stole my wedge pillow in the night, and when I woke up he was hugging it like a teddy! :rotfl:Left my support band at home as well, so just trying not to over stretch myself.

Rups I've been cheating with the cake baking. I've been buying those packet mixes that you just add water too. Chocolate brownie is my current favourite. They're good because they don't cost as much as a ready made cake and also I don't have to stand as long as I would if I was making them from scratch
Re the sitting down - I don't have a chair that's the right height to use at the sink but I did do the ironing sitting down the other day

Baby/children's first aid sorry cant remember who asked about this. My watching daytime tv has paid off. St John's ambulance advert was just on. You can text 'guide' to 60155 for their info or visit their site sja.org.uk
LittleMoog thanks for that! I've got my DVD so I guess it is 4d.
Ikkle I'll be over 32 weeks on Monday though so it's just a bit late. To be honest everything looked great on the 4d scan so I'm not worried. Any excuse to see my little man
Emsbet sounds like our boys are in the same place. He seems to be quite wiggly, I have nothing to compare it to though. He gets excited when there's food going. It's almost like he's trying to head towards my stomach to steal some. Hehe:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

Emsbet/LMM My OH was saying last week that we should pack my hospital bag! I woudl ove to do this, but as everything is in boxes and bags all over the place I have no idea where anything is at the minute! Told him we need to get the house finished first, then we can pack!
Emsbet I often worry that my LO isn't very active either - he has bursts where he moves loads and then doesn't seem to do much for the rest of the time! I think it is just the way he is and I try not to get too worried about it, though when you read how active some others are it does make you wonder! I have my next midwife appt a week today so will prob just check with her then.0 -
Mine doesn't seem fussed by food really unless I've not eaten for a while or I'm eating Dominoes pizza! :rotfl: I think it maybe because I'm constantly eating crap

Missmonkeymoo, I was going to ask my midwife today but as my DH and sister were concerned about my huge feet last week I went to see one then so this week's appointment was cancelled. Of course I forgot to ask last week! So now I have to wait another 2 weeks :undecided
I'm glad I'm not the only one with a quiet babythey'll probably make up for it when they are here

Rups glad everything was ok. I find with the housework I can do (dusting, washing up, using the broom, and bad attempts at the bathroom) I tend to do small bursts. I clean some dishes, then go for a sit down, then dry up, then rest, then put dishes away. Everything takes forever to do, but at least I don't feel as bad that way.
Emsbet I still don't have as much movement as most people seem to, but I looked at my notes from the scan last week and realised I have an anterior placenta too. Nobody has ever said anything about it to me, so I had no idea it was anterior.Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800
