AMC - my NCT teacher recommended n!pple-tweaking as that releases the same hormone I think??
Have had an up and down day. Had a nice lunch with my sister at Prezzo and bought all the cards I need up until the end of August.
This morning I put my new pram together and think I've found a way to make it slightly smaller to get in the boot of the car. I'm so weak though and it's quite heavy. Surely I'll get stronger if I'm doing that every day?? Also tidied up the baby's room to make room for the pram and chucked a few things into a bag to keep OH quiet as he keeps going on at me to do my hospital bag.
The down things - OH has been called in to do overtime tomorrow so he'll be working 5 nights in a row instead of 4 and it means another day he can't work on this poxy kitchen. I'm getting really fed up of it now. So much mess everywhere and no oven/hob until next Tuesday now.
Also found a receipt for fags which has really upset me as OH meant to be giving up for the last 2 weeks. He's told me when he's cracked before and had a couple of cigs, but this receipt was from last night when I went out and he was obviously trying to hide it from me. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's being lied to. Feel like I can't trust him. I know it's probably my hormones talking but it's still upset me.
So even though I'm full up from my yummy lunch (chicken and bacon ravioli and strawbery eton mess cheesecake) I'm going to hit the chocolate!
Fab news about Rebekah, hope she is on here soon with a pic and her story.
Hugs to all xxx0 -

Oh crissy so sorry about the bad day.
hugs. yep being lied to is the worst. maybe you can ask him, as he may have bought it for someone else, or maybe was scared to tell you he slipped? I dont like smoking too and sometimes (rarely) DH will have a social one and i just give him a bad look. once i did find a pack in the house and when i asked him,he said they were his brother's and it was just us living in the house, so i blew a fuse. anyway try and speak to him and say it just upset you (if he has started again). Hormones dont help either though. hugs again. zxx
and n1pple tweaking? wow that is a new one i have learnt!Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Thanks. We have a few but we are keeping them to ourselves. We're going to have a list of a couple of names and see which suits him best
I've also bought myself a sewing machine recently as I love the idea of little man having things I've made. So far I've made three taggie blankets but I'd love to be able to make him teddies and costumes for parties

Rups they were definitely his, I dropped him right outside the fish and chip shop on my way out which is opposite the Tesco's he got them from and the time matches. Plus I asked him if he had anything to tell me and it wasn't until I told him I found the receipt that he knew he couldn't get out of it. I understand that he's finding it hard to give up but don't lie and try to hide it from me.0

Afternoon!
Hope you're all having good days? For the first time probably since I became pregnant, I have stopped stressing a little about work - hurrrrrrrah, I knew I would get there eventually :j
I've been training someone up on my job for around the last 5 months (its very indepth and complicated, so could never be covered in a few weeks), and I have got another person starting at the end of July to train as well, but I know I wont get her anywhere near fully trained up in time, but I've just realised ... time to stop stressing and let someone else take the strain for a while/permanently, so although I feel terribly lazy I'm sat here now on MSE (with serious face on so I look very busy) whilst the person I'm training is doing a task we've been putting off for ages, and I only feel about 1% guilty.
It does mildly annoy me that I have worked here 5 years, spent the last 2 years solely managing everything, and now they have decided its unreasonable to expect me to just have one person cover my role and have got two in. I managed it for long enough!
Am so looking forward to heading out of here on my final day (hopefully 20 Sep, and baby due 4 Oct), and really really dont want to come back here at all, so going to start looking for a new job in Feb/march time and just hope something comes up!
Feels like something of a break-through so a CONSTANT worrier haha! :rotfl:
I am still a little concerned about how we'll manage financially. Our basic outgoing (bills, mortgage, car, food and petrol) are around £1700 even after we've cut down as much as we can, and OH doesn't earn quite enough to cover that. We've saved nearly £5k to help bridge the gap, but we're not quite there yet.
Is anyone doing KIT (Keep in Touch) days? When I leave I'm still going to have at least 10 days of holiday to take, so my boss had suggested paying me for 2 days per month, saying I'd done KIT days when I haven't, to give me a little extra to help per month, which will help!0 -

You could have a lucozade, although in my case they just send me to sleep lol xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
