  • All well at the mw this morning, baby head down and right size for dates etc :) Back in 2 weeks time. She did have a problem getting the heartbeat on the doppler though, as Beanie had hiccups and was jiggling around everywhere. I only noticed them getting hiccups about a week ago, and now they seem to have them 2-3 times a day.

I'm going to start raspberry leaf tea tonight, as I've hit 32 weeks. bought some a couple of weeks ago in Tesco as it was on offer. Haven't had/noticed any Braxton Hicks yet, so will be interested to see if this makes them more obvious (or starts them if I just haven't had any yet!)

Our cot is a dropside one from John Lewis, and it's the same price, just in case anyone wants an alternative. Link here

  • Mishka & Scottishchick – I don’t mind what they do… it isn’t a problem to me. The issue is that she has the hump that I’m not going… (I did put in the story that she already had the hump before I asked if she was doing anything else and it was her who had suggested the meal previously anyway!)

Nephthys – That’s nice that your friends would take you into account… It would be nice if they did but they are still very young mentally so I wasn’t expecting that…just not expecting her to get the hump!!! We have all been friends for 13 years

Congrats Milliebob & Emsbet! Although you have now moved me up to number 33 which is a tad scary….I think Stephen might be our middle name… even though baby will have an Italian 1st and surname!

Lol at your friend and xmas LittleMoog – I’m not bothered if people aren’t as excited by my baby as I am… why would they be but like you I would have assumed that’s what she meant in the text not xmas!!!

I treated myself (& baby) at lunchtime to a Widgey pillow. I bought a cheaper v-shaped pillow with DD and it was OK, but when I saw this in Asda for £19, I caved in. It makes breast feeding so much more comfortable & easy!

Mishka's post has me thinking now - any suggestions for box sets to get? Like I said in my earlier post, we don't have a TV so I probably won't have seen whatever it is. I have seen all the Footballer's Wives, I think, probably seen quite a few desperate housewives, and we did take out the first series of 24, other than that I'm open to suggestions!

mummyoftwo - had a stroll into town, bought new craft things to start making some pretty thank you cards for baby pressies, and a cake from Greggs. Enjoying it with a brew before I go to pic up my little fella from school.

shery I'm glad you got your BP checked out today then. I hope the blood tests lead to a cure and you get to have the VBAC you want. Hugs for you. xx

Well I'm back from Starbucks (had my carrot cake and decaff latte) and found my Lindt Caramel Creation chocolate bar had been delivered (won in a giveaway on FB), and checked my emails to find that I've made the top 10 in a caption competition to win £100 of Sainsbugs vouchers. If anyone would like to vote for me, the linky is here (I'm the bottom right - Zoe). Many thanks if you do vote. :)

Pleased to see lots of people finding things to make them feel good.

Did everyone remember to do some pelvic floor exercises when they read about the appointments today? Doing mine now. ;) Pleased your appointment went well LittleMoog. Bean also gets hiccups about 2-3 times a day, and apparently this is completely normal as it's their way of getting their lungs working as they take in amniotic fluid.

Welcome mountainmum - hope you don't mind me reposting the list, as the links and numbers etc have gone.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
