Little_Moog - My OH is also ready for the baby to arrive (by which I think he means he wishes the due date was here, not the baby to come so early!). I, however, have been keeping him occupied with lots of jobs on the house to do which seems to be speeding up time for him and stopping him saying he is ready for the baby to arrive. I didn't feel ready but the more he says it, the more I feel ready too...and I've got months to go still so I don't want to get to that "fed up" state any time in the next 2 months at least!

I think mine really does want them to come early, this morning he said "I was born at 34 weeks and I was fine" just before he left for work! :eek::rotfl:

I'm getting kicked in the ribs a lot more now ikkle but only on my right side, so he's definitely higher up now than he was - it also feels like there is a hard round bit on my left side now, which could be his bottom I suppose, but also could be his head. I have a feeling he has his head on my left side and feet on my right as sometimes I feel two lumps on the right now (this could be a leg and an arm though I suppose).

maybe he's just not engaged hun then, but if he's still kicking you in the ribs he's probably still in the head down position just maybe slightly more on an angle. I know with first babies they can engage and unengage lots x

Thanks honey - I'm just a bit annoyed as he was nicely head down at my last midwife appointment, and I felt that things were progressing well, but she and the medical student were poking so hard when they were feeling for the head, that it was actually hurting me, so maybe he decided he wasn't going to stick around there any more.

just having a down day today. didnt sleep well, as my right arm was hurting all night, like a muscle ache and DH was just asleep. he has no idea how i am feeling. Am feeling a bit resentful towards him which i shouldnt but i cant help it, as am just tired and grumpy. He never asks how i feel and if he does, i just get 'ok cool', or 'take it easy'. I was crying at 2am in the morning (silently) as my arm was just sore. took paracetamols and nothing. still here this morning. plus his going out stuff is getting to me as well. does he think i dont stop my socialising and stuff? sorry ladies. just tired and very emotional today..:(
