Hi everyone,

Nothing to report here. I read this thread every day but not much to say.

Congratulation to all the new mummies and congratulation Rups for passing your exam.

I had my 25 weeks appointment with my GP and also I had a word with my HR manager. I'll have work all the way till decembre (I might get a week off before the due date).

Hope everyone is OK and labor vibes to all our boldies.

marta thanks for that recomendation. i will have a look once my mum and me tub runs out. i have had stretch marks from before (weight gain and loss) so i hope the creams help.

overdid it a bit tonight. went for the 'summer work party' and was meant to stay for a few hours but ended up leaving just after ten. i got so tired as well as i was standing for a bit and it was very crowded. then sat down for a bit. had a bit of back pain and also belly ache. when i left, i thought i had done some abs work. sigh. i was too tired to leave then but did it in the end.

home now. got a cab as was dying for a wee. am about to dash off to bed but dh is watching tv so i am bound to get woken up. grrr

speak in the morning. my legs are sore too.

Me too! My bump feels like it's taking up so much space the last few days, I've started to get much more achy around my pelvis area, hips and back. Plus the bump itself seems to be more tender too, I guess maybe it's more stretched? Can't seem to be comfy in any position for long.

Marta and Sexymouse, I've just looked at the Palmer's 'tummy butter for stretchmarks' that I have (was given it as a gift), and that has a blue strip saying it contains bio c-elaste too. So I don't know if that would have the same effects? Either way, it smells lush

Snowbean, it seems to be from the same range.
I hope you have the same experience, as I mentioned it is not a miracle and it won't stop them altogether but at least for me it has faded the ones that appeared and I only got a couple of tiny ones more since I've been using it. I have been using it before bed, once at night, some days also after the shower but rarely. It os quite sticky, but I also put quite a lot, so it might be my fault! I give a quick massage to help it penetrate, put my pyjamas on and done. The clothes get stuck to the skin with it on, it is quite dense and thick, that's why I use it at night. I started to see some results within 6 weeks or so. They went from purple to red to pink, some have faded almost to skin tone, some are not obvious anymore. Considering I'm still growing in size, I am very pleased. I can't wait to see how it responds after the birth.

Morning all I am off on a course to day, resus!!! So hopefully they will put Annie on a table as I am not sure I will get up of the floor!

Not felt many baby movements lately but i am sure all is ok, as I am expanding by thye day

Morning! Jules - have fun today. Can empathise about not egtting up off the floor at the mo! 21 weeks today and all of a sudden my tummy has expanded outwards. I have very little movement as well but anterior placenta so assume that's why. However, PGP has got worse so I also assume all is ok! And much empathy on the ezcema! I have it really badly on my hands and feet - pompholyx - but pregnancy seems to be good for it and it has totally cleared up. Bonus!

I think I used bio-oil the last time and have a bottle left so will use that up first. I also used one of the body butters but no idea which although tempted to get more as they smell fab! Still got stretch marks but decided at the time that I was never likely to wear a bikini therefore the only person who would ever see them would be DH and he says he loves me anyway so I didn't worry! Only problem I got was a nasty bout of PUPPP after he was born - at least I think that's what it was (horrible, intensely itchy rash in every stretch mark I had) - so hope i don't get that again!

On a half day today - hurrah! :T :j
