Congratulations ferret!
LMM you 're making me broody with that picture and this one isn't out yet
Rups from another nervous mother to be, at some point you will have to get things ready and it won't make things any easier to not have things if something does go wrong (which it won't) I work on the assumption that one day we will have a take home baby (hopefully this week) so if things do happen it will be put into storage until need time. We have everything set up now although the mattress still has the plastic on (easier to store) which can be taken off quickly when we get her home.
Although did realise late last night that we don't have a sling (not yet arrived) no pram (waiting until she is here) and don't know how to use the car seat plus OH doesn't drive so would be on me. How are we going to get home?Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

I didn't get on with any of the FIVE slings I bought last time. I'm quite well endowed and struggled with being comfortable on my boobs.
Take the little lady on her first shopping trip to choose the pram. It'll be fun.
Mmmm not trying to jinx kitten but what if u have a section then u not allowed to drive?? Do u have any friend or family that can pick u up from hospital? Or is a taxi very far away from u?love you lots like jelly tots0 -
kitten, how far are you from home? If there is a car seat knocking about (I seem to recall you have one?) you could carry her home in it / mix with public transport?0

Not expecting to drive. Will probaby get a taxi only live 10 mins down the road. SIL got a bus home, not sure we will do that but there are options, just trying to calm OH who thinks everything needs to be done and wearing himself out. A call to his sister should hopefully slap him out of it.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Nooooooooo, it's plainly obvious for all to see now, but this time round has been quite a struggle, i have aches and pains constantly, so unless i have to go out, then i dont, (thank god for online shopping) plus if i do go anywhere, i'm always pushing a buggy anyway so that sort of hides the bump, lol.
the reason i've not splashed it all over the news is cos i really cant be bothered with all the 'you must be mad' comments, my youngest will of just turned one, litterally, when this baby is born, i was 35 when i had her and the amount of 'friends' who thought i was crazy for having another at that age amazed me.Skint, but happy (ish):p0 -

taxi sounds like a plan! just need to figure out how to get it in the taxi then but the driver should be able to help out
We will have the same problem, we have no car so will need to figure out how to fit our seat in all the various cars/taxis we might end up in!
