Re healthy start vouchers. Once baby comes if your other half works and u get working tax credit then you are no longer entitles to healthy start vouchers
I know chick, makes me understand why more and more people go on the fiddle with benefits. We aren't entitled to the Healthy Start vouchers anyway but I thought they might help Cake4brains in the mean time xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Welcome back Rups. I want it to be Tuesday!!! That's my next midwife appointment - feel like I've not had one for ages when in fact it was only a week and a half ago. Ha ha.
I'm in Wales and only allowed to go 40+10 but that might be due to my health issues - apparently those extra 3 days make a difference. :rotfl: We are buying a bed frame today so no more getting up off the floor. I'm SOOOOOO excited. Also buying my nursing bra's this weekend. Or 2 at least. I'm pretty sorted I think, just need to do house stuff but I can't do that without DH, so nothing I can do today except mooch and sort washes.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Sooo jealous Vic's somewhere that allows them to do kangaroo care - our place didn't
(but great news)
We get nothing either - my work died off so badly I wasn't able to get maternity allowance (agency worker), no maternity pay from employer, no benefits, not even any tax credit help since when they moved the boundaries we now fall £600 over the threshold... it's brutal.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -

I always wait till the end as well, only thing I got last time was the swing I wanted for bubs and my grandparents bought that and it was an online exclusive so got it early. There doesn't seem to be much in it I want or need this time - same for the Tesco one. The morrisons event we got some bargains from at the end, Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature bottles £3 for 4, a baby bath for £2, some soothers, teethers and munchkin fresh fruit feeders for 50p each.
Apparently I am a very wanted lady on the 5th September. So far I've got a consultant appointment and scan, a midwife appointment at my GP surgery and now the health visitor wants to visit too. I can only be in one place at a time. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

thanks ladies. i STILL havent managed to catch up as work emails are taking so much time.
having read through these ones though, CONGRATS to the new mummies.hope you are all doing well with the little ones.
RJH so sorry to hear that. Is there any way they may call you in for a c-section?
holiday was relaxing thanks but was so hot that i was avoiding the sun. even to walk around the villa for 5 minutes got me dehydrated. they dont have a pool so was just sitting where icould feel a breeze. last week it was just in the late 30s and no breeze so i really suffered.then was worried about whether baby was hyradated enough as i didnt feel that much hydrated. didnt even go to the beach as it was drive away and then a walk away so just sat around lol.
also was hoping for 'kicks' and stuff but all i could feel was those flutter type feelings still and right below, and some pulse-type of things just below the belly button and was wondering whether that was normal?
hehe bet you all didnt miss my worrying questions.:)
we met up with friends there and the roads were so bumpy, one of them said he was surprised i hadnt gone into early labour due to the numpy road and then heard a story that a woman had gone to tenerife and ended up giving birth at 15 weeks. eek! lol.
wish had more scans to see bubba.just want to feel full on movements and that was the thing that was niggling at me.
also someone here mentioed that their belly is normally warm? should that be the case? mine is always cool.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!
Little Kung fu bubba due on the 24th of December 2012. :j

Irs been quiet without u Rups but there has been major drama with early babies and inductions etc that we have coped
No no chance of section unless induction doesn't go well. So annoyed they letting me go so far over. I know he aint coming out himself. He's as laid back as his daddy.love you lots like jelly tots0 -
Rups it's still quite early for you to feel full on kicks hun they will get more established and less fluttery as you get further along. My belly always feels cold. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

thanks ladies.
hehe.. i am 22 weeks now so am waiting. little bubba seems quiet and not bothered. clearly not like daddy as his daddy likes moving around and not staying still. its the sleeping thing too. i slept so badly in Italy. partly as was waking up to pee all the time and then the side position. i still find myself on my back! even today.
rjh i really feel for you. can you not go and fight with them and demand they do something? (sorry i know iam seeing it as easy as that) i hope they really do something soon as it must be so frustrating for you.
being away, i have missed loads. came back and checked FB briefly and saw a girl i knew from uni has given birth and also my cousins wife. wow!
thanks for the re-assurance ikkle.
on our way back yesterday there was a baby who was crying so much on th plane and people were getting annoyed and hubby said one day that will be us. lolBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!
