Morning everyone, hope everyone is ready for the bank holiday weekend... AFM I am happy it is Friday! :j

Thanks so much for everyone's kind thoughts, especially bikeless and ikkle - it's good to know I'm not the only one feeling this way. I've given myself a bit of a pep talk and I'm going to try and think positive. As far as we know bubba is absolutely fine and I've no reason to think any different. I need to concentrate on the positives and stuff the midwives and their random attitudes! I think I had just expected my visits to be a bit more personal, not like I was on a conveyor, but on the plus side I have all you lovely people for support as well as my family and OH so I should be happy everything is going as well as it can be.

I'm going to stop feeling like I'm tempting fate by getting everything ready for bubba and just enjoy it. Sending lots of positive happy vibes to you all for the weekend. Thanks again everyone, I no longer feel like I'm going mad xxx

Congratulation to all new mummies. Lots of new babies around which is fantastic!!!

Nothing new to report here. I'm 22 weeks and still have lots of time before my little one arrives. I just want to know that she will be save and sound at the end of this journey. Sorry for bringing this thread down but today I woke up thinking negatively about this pregnancy. Looking forward for my V Day. Is that at 24 w?

Thanks for the Asda event tip Ikkle. It's starts online today? Can't seem to find much. Any ideas how much the nappies are and what brands are reduced?

Congrats to all the new mummies! And good luck Kitten, like all have said, glad they have picked this up for you and that you will be getting the care that you and baby need!

i am actually feeling very jealous now and cannot wait for LO to put in their appearance! Got two and a half weeks to my due date so I guess it could happen at any time, although I would rather that they hang on and be a September baby if at all possible, lol! Must sort out the crib this weekend and actually put it up in our room and get the bedding washed; also just need nursing bras (getting them next week) and then we are set. Well, we do still need more bits and pieces, but nothing immediate so they can wait. Must remember to pack babys balnket in my hospital bag though, keep forgetting to do that!#

Last day at work today - who-hoo! I cannot wait to finish now; it has been such a busy week as I am trying to get everything finished before I go. People keep telling me not to worry about it and just let them try and cope without me, but I just can't be half-hearted about things and it will really bug me if I know I haven't got everything done. I can log on from home next week if I have to but I would rather not cos I need to resta nd also don;t want work getting used to me helping them out cos I wont get anything extra for doing it!

RJH my OH has started to worry about 'poking' baby, lol! he hasn't refused to DTD yet though, don't think it will get to that stage, especially if he thinks that it will help baby to come along earlier - he is very excited and can't wait to meet LO! Hope things get moving for you soon x

Izzy the way you feel is completely normal; the same thought crossed my mind when I went for a midwife appt recently. My midwife is great but you do feel like you're just on a conveyor belt. I also worry about LO; I think until LO is safely here and in my arms I am always going to to have that fear, but I try not to let it take over too much if I can! I haven't enjoyed being pregnant all that much so at times OH has questioned whether or not I really want this baby - I really do, but it is hard to explain that it has been very difficult for me physically and mentally and I think they is just aprt of me that hasn't dare enjoy it - just in case. I'm prob not making any sense, but I just wanted to let you know you're not alone and that there is not right or wrong way to feel about being pregnant!

I'm off to see my parents today as they are finally home. They have been in France since me 20 week scan back in April so I'm super excited.

Still getting lots of period pains but nothing regular. And back ache. 2 weeks today til due date, yay!

42 +2. Didn't get to sleep till after 3am. Felt pooh yesterday. Hopefully today be better

Off to midwife for 36 week appointment at 10, so need to get shifting into the shower pronto.

Nice to see so many birth announcements!

MORNING LADIES!!!
how are you all?so sorry i just went off on holiday without saying bye! it was manic at work and i was handing over to my back up! will catch up with all the pages and post soon. how have you all been?

holiday ws great and relaxing and i was roasting and melting. will fill you all in soon..glad to be back though to this cooler weather. it was higher than 32 degress everyday.:)
