Knackered but ok, hope your well too? Are you getting excited now your due date is getting closer?
Glad you're ok - hope you managed to get some sleep last night, or that you can catch up with some naps today.
I'm excited but nervous - still haven't got a bag for my hospital stuff, still need to wash the bedding for the cot (was going to do it this weekend when I'm 36 weeks, but weather is looking dodgy) and still need to get fitted for nursing bras somewhere (will involve travelling as there isn't really anywhere around here). With all of these September babies coming early, I'm hoping that my midwife appointment on Friday doesn't reveal that Bean needs to for any reason, as I really want him to still be a September baby.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
LMM, congratulations, he is absolutely adorable! And congrats to Divorcingjack too
Kitten, hope you are ok, cant imagine how you're feeling at the moment. Hope today goes how you want it
Ikkle, your experience with the consultant hospital sounded terrifying. Im so glad all was well in the end and you got to see baby doing ok on the scan. What a shock you must have had
Moneypuddle, so glad your mw appt went better. Hope you managed a good nights sleep
Thanks ikkle and bikeless. I have scan and consultants appt next week (28wk) so will make a mw appt for the following week
Swim classes, I would love to take the babies swimming as early as poss. Simply because I didnt learn to swim til I was about 10 and even then I couldnt get the hang of it properly. Im very scared in the water and would love for the babies to be confident. Only problem there is double the cost though. Will look at surestart
Happy Birthday SamW
NBirdy, good luck for induction
Bikeless, my DH doesnt have a choice about using reuseables :rotfl:. I bought them and that was that! I also have lots of huggies/pampers that were free or nearly free so once theyre gone I will start on the cloth ones
I bought my first item for the hospital bag yesterday... a box of breast pads from Tesco! No idea how good they will be but at least Ive made a start. DH keeps pestering me to get the bag sorted, know I should but Im hoping not to need it for at least another 8 weeks!
Katy, good luck for your scan today
Dizsie, thanks for your future worries they really made me chuckle :rotfl:. My brother has already said he will be buying chastity belts for the girls when they reach puberty! Dread to think what DH will be like. We have a lot of very large and scary looking protective men in our family
Sorry if I have missed anyone and hope everyone has a better day today xx:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -

Glad you're feeling a bit better now Ickle and have had some reassurance. And thanks for the info about the asda event. I'm sure there's things I still need to get, but I really can't think what?
Really need to get on and finish sorting bean's wardrobe so I can make a proper list to assess what we have and what we still need. Have so far discovered that we have about a squillion small size vests - not quite sure where they've all come from :cool:0 -
Hope it all goes well Kitten x0

Well I'm 37+3 today. I'm constantly tired, achy and battling to find motivation to do ANYTHING. The more people meet their babies early, the lazier I appear to be getting. I've just suddenly become aware that this is the last time I can just do what I want. I'm about to lose my freedom to mooch.
That said, I'm also getting more excited to meet him every day. DH is getting nervous I think - he seems more and more reluctant to go to work everyday. ha ha.
Good luck to people with appointments.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Good luck Kitten!
All went well for me, baby has started growing steadily againShe's still small at 4lb4oz (apparently around the 5lb mark is average at this stage), but she's stayed on the same centile and hasn't dropped down like last time, so they're happy for now. They've decided I don't have to be monitored now, although they still want me to keep a close eye on movement. I've got another growth scan booked for 2 weeks time just in case it falls away again, but all looks positive for now
