Ikkle, I'm not sure I've had baby hiccups yet. I get my movements in spurts but none seem hiccuppy? Lots of what feels like kicks though when they are going..

Hiccups tend to be at a steady rhythm like our hiccups would be. Feels like a twitch or a strong heartbeat, I've never seen my belly move with them before but it looked like a pulsating movement. x

Cake - I wish I could do that but DH would go up the wall if I'd done anything like that! He likes to be involved, bless (and he's really scared that the house may smell!!). I've done some more research on it and, once baby is born, I might just buy a few singles to try them on. Which ones did you get?
KatyLiz - that's great news! I'm really happy for you. Hopefully baby will continue to grow steadily.
Kitten - sorry to hear that but I'm glad it's been picked up and you'll be meeting your baby girl soon good luck!!
ikkle - I'm not sure my baby has hiccups... I can't say I've ever noticed them.

Re: motivation. I have very little at the minute, can't be bothered with anything and would happily watch tv or read a book all day long...

Today, for the first time during pregnancy (I think!), I was in a real bad mood. The worst part is that I was angry at the dog! Poor puppy is poorly, she has an infection and she's really itchy. She's on medication but it'll take a while for things to improve and I just couldn't cope with all the licking and biting that she was doing this morning to cope with the itching. Bless her! I've taken her for a long walk after lunch for our sanities and I feel much better now and so does she, I'm sure, she's asleep by my feet

fairly good. though I was surprised when a friend had hers 5 weeks early and to be fair I only tend to make predictions when someone is already overdue so I'm never going to be too far out

You'll have your baby by 12.01 am Sunday morning though I reckon!
