LadyM - I admit I know nothing much about MS, but I can't believe people feel they have the right to make such silly comments and assumptions! And your consultant sounds like he thinks he knows it all.
Another appointment letter through the post today, this time for anaesthetics clinic. I have no idea why I've got to see them, it's not something I've had a problem with in the past or anything the consultant has mentioned to me. I think they just like to bombard me with hospital sessions, I'm in there between 2-4 times every week!!
I finally got my BabiesRUs baby club vouchers through and I can't say I'm very impressed. Most of them are money off bikes, lego etc, which seems a bit ridiculous when signing up due to pregnancy. Even the £5 off toys voucher says 'excludes babiesrus'. I suppose I can use them to get xmas shopping early for the big kids, but that isn't exactly the first thing on my mind at the moment.
He's a bit of a twonk.:rotfl:
It's okay. MIL will put him straight.2019 Wins

LadyM if you want I can try and find some research? Through uni/my work I have access to loads of journals. Although I've got to be honest I know very little about ME. If I find anything it'll be basic for me to understand. Good idea to take someone with you that will ask things and fight your corner so to speak. Really doesn't help that your obs consultant knows little about ME. If I remember rightly your local ME specialist said your too severe for them to see you?
RJH your daughter sounds adorable. Maybe some stern words from big sister will convince baby to make an appearance!
Canucksfan I'll add you to the list I did this morning. Sometimes you'll come back and they'll be five pages to catch up on! We can be very chatty! Sorry to hear your having a rough time with this one.
Savage I've heard of a lady who was at the hospital where I work having this although I never cared for her the stories were scary. She was moved from the third floor as she tried to jump to the ground floor. I know she did make a good recovery in the end, but scary stuff!

Aw. Thank you. That's very kind of you, but I don't want to put more stress on you.:o Pregnancy is stressful enough as it is.:o
That is right about the M.E specialist, because I am bedbound/housebound alot, I am deemed too severe. I would have thought if you're more severe, that you'd need the help more?2019 Wins

KatyLiz I know what you mean about the Babies R Us vouchers - mine came yesterday and were the same - I sat there feeling annoyed too.
One of my friends from NCT classes has just posted on facebook that the swimming pool we were going to do aquanatal in tomorrow is closed until Thursday.I was really looking forward to using my new swimming costume and seeing everyone again too.
On a plus note, I picked up the raspberry leaf tea and it's the Heath and Heather one that Holland & Barrett do, so at least I've got a variety in my teas now.The lady seemed really nice too, and I may see her in the future at sensory bump group near me.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

I've found one already that I can access! I'm sat here all day online anyway so it's no problem and I can access a lot of stuff that needs a subscription etcnot promising I'll find anything useful. ME society has a leaflet about pregnancy but seems you have to send for it rather than being about to download it
On other news I'm sitting here and suddenly realise that both my nipples are leaking where the heck did that come from?! on,y a tiny so don't want to rush sticking pads on. Will have to put a a couple in my handbag.:j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

KatyLiz/Sexymouse so with you on the rubbish BabiesRUs vouchers. What a con that gold card is; I wasn't expecting to get loads of freebies or masses of money off goods but I was expecting something better than what we actually received!
Had midwife appt today; my usual midwife stepped out to make tea and left me with a midwife that has been based at the hospital and is now heading back out into the community. She was ok, but I was a bit anxious when she couldn't tell which way round baby was lying! Was quite thankful when my midwife came back in! baby is still head down (phew!) but he isn't quite turned round enough so I have to get down on all fours and try and encourage him to turn! Midwife wasn't concerned though, he is on track measurement wise and BP is all good so it's just a waiting game now I guess. Got another appt next week and then there's no clinic the week after so kind of hoping baby puts in an appearance then! They did say though that if babies movements change I can call the midwife hotline and go to the hospital to be monitored. My LO's movements are never regular, so I wouldn't really know if they have changed! As long as he moves regularly I guess that's the main thing!
Bought some raspberry leaf tea but have yet to try it, must get it out the cupboard tonight and start drinking it! Also a bit happier today cos I have let a few of my mates know I finish work this week and they have all responded to arrange meet ups for lunches and shopping trips so that will help to keep my mind occupied!0 -
