My feet are so swollen today that the join between my toes and the feet is actually painful. Anyone else got this?

Congratulations Gemma!

Moneypuddle were you at the antenatal class on Thursday at the hospital? I thought maybe I recognised you? Sorry to see you've been so worried about your swab results. I don't really know anything about strep b except what I've read on here, but it just seems so horrible for the receptionist to leave you hanging with no further information and to just leave you to panic. Hope you get to see someone about it soon, and that they can give you some reassurance.

Hope that everyone else who's feeling under the weather feels better soon. I've been feeling really worn out today. We spent most of last week decorating the bean's room. Finally finished yesterday. Just waiting for carpet to go in tomorrow, then have to put all the furniture and baby stuff back back in, put curtain pole back up, find a lightshade... maybe we'll be finished before baby is born! Feeling like I have so much on at the moment. Did a bootsale this afternoon to try and make space and some extra pennies, got my driving theory test and a driving lesson tomorrow, another driving lesson on tues, antenatal class on thurs, and OH's mum coming to stay at the weekend. Still need to wallpaper the bathroom before then, and clear a room so they have somewhere to sleep :cool: Plus, I'm stressing about failing the test tomorrow - really can't afford to have to take it again, but can't seem to get a very good score on my practice tests

RJH it's not so much the joint, but the area under my toes is sore. I think it's just the skin/tissues being stretched will carry on sending BIG labour vibes to you in the hope they kick in soon.

Snowbean good luck with your driving test. They're so expensive to take. Sounds like you've a lot on your plate, you can only do what you can do.

AFM - second coat of paint is done. We were all pooped so we left it as that. We did go out though before that and chose a border, quite boyish with planes, cars, buses etc on. We'd a lot of the 'I love my bear' bedding, nappy stacker etc so hoping it doesn't clash. But thinking I wanted something a bit colourful to brighten it up. Paint was still wet so didn't get to put it up. Annoying we needed 10m and 30cms and of course it comes in 5m rolls :mad: also got a light shade Nd matching lamp, very similar to the border with planes on and a pack of three wall pictures that match the border
I can't never work out how to use upload pics from the iPad so will have a go from the main pc tomorrow. Hugs to those with half finished houses/rooms. In B&Q OH and FIL were talking about another project I was like we lets crack on! Still only really got use of both index fingers and thumbs so chuffed I managed to do some painting:)
Can't believe it's so late, watched the closing ceremony and I quite enjoyed it. Looking forward to Paralympics as we've tickets for that so cannot wait to get in That stadium and experience it all for real! :j although it's 11days before EDD so watch out for me giving birth on the news :rotfl: bubba has been excited all day, especially this evening and seems he enjoyed the closing ceremony too

Oh has been hilarious today. He keeps looking at my belly and making baby rocking motions with his arms saying come out baby I wanna hold you. He's so excited bless him.

I went to a car boot yesterday afternoon. Got a gro egg for £1.50. Don't actually need it as my baby monitor has a thermometer but it makes me feel better when I buy baby things

Awake for my 3.30 pee. Hope I can get back to sleeps now.

I stayed up late (well 11.30pm is late for me lol!) to watch the closing ceremony last night. I was so unimpressed, half the acts I couldn't hear, and it was just pretty awful. The Olympics themselves were great though, I'll miss having sport to watch everyday.

LMM - you did well to paint with your hands, it must have been awkward. I didn't realise they were still that bad.

Since being pregnant I can't stand smells, the smell of paint has me gagging and retching so I couldn't even go in the room whilst DH was painting.

snowbean - wow, you have a lot on your plate! Good luck for the theory test, hope it goes well for you.

Mishka - sounds like you had a great day even if it was tiring. Hope you managed a good night's sleep after that!
