Thanks for the support everyone, we're doing better today. my husband was really supportive yesterday and made me go to bed to sleep while he looked after baby. I really needed the rest and feel so much better today. Turned out the reason Luke was crying was he was hungry (I discounted it because he had been fed only a couple of hours before). It seems that he wants food more often now, even though the midwife and the hospital had said that every 4 hours was ok, he's demanding food sometimes every 2 hours, which I guess means he's doing well! Did anyone else's newborns feed this often, even with formula milk?
I was able to give him some breast milk so I feel better about that too, though I still think breastfeeding is not for me!
Good luck Chrissy and Clarissa and anyone else I've forgotten to mention, hope you have your babies soon xxx0 -

Glad it's going better AMC!
While I've not finished my breastfeeding book yet (or indeed even started it, I'm on 'weaning' at the moment, which may have been jumping the gun a bit) but I picked up from elsewhere that if you were breastfeeding and baby was crying you could feed it. I know with formula you could over-feed him moreso than if you were breastfeeding though so it's a bit more confusing... perhaps more frequent smaller feeds would help?? Did the midwife have any suggestions?

I thought that but then at our last scan it was a different sonographer and she asked if we knew what we were having. I said that we were working on the assumption of a girl due to all previous scans not showing boy bits. She said that we were definitely having a girl and zoomed in to show us her labia
Scared of birth I am not scared of the actual labour, figure it will end at some point however I am petrified of having to say goodbye again.
Jedi Happy due date (think I am a day or two late)
Spreadsheets My entire life is run by spreadsheets and lists, I have lots of budgets on spreadsheets too for working/maternity/after maternity etc just so I have an idea of where we stand.
Rebekah The pictures are lovely.
Good luck to all those in early labour. Exciting :j
I have actually had quite a productive few days. Realised that we had about 5 weeks left  so went to Ikea in Croydon (Rups thought of you while we were there)
Got a new sofa and some drawers, haven't quite got any specific baby things yet but there is still time :rotfl:
Car window wipers have broken so have to take my car in to be checked today. Can't walk so will have to get a taxi there and backlets hope it isn't something too expensive, we have budgeted so tightly not sure we can afford it. Although we did budget £500 for the sofa bed and spend £395 so have a little extra in the budget now.
Hope everyone is well.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500
