We haven't discussed names at all and I wouldn't tell anyone what we had chosen if we had.. they are always so rude.. and I have known with the last few what gender they were and not told anyone.. it only encourages them to suggest daft names

My standard reply is.. you'll have to wait and see same as everyone else! .. or yes but we are not sharing!

I'm feeling poop today my back, hips and pelvis are sore my bump feels heavy and I feel so much pressure down below feeling very sorry for myself gonna have to go the docs at some point this week for a sick note for work, I feel so daft just going and saying I want a sick note I know there's nothing they can do about back pain last pregnancy they gave me some stronger cocodamol than the ones you can buy over the counter maybe ill get some of those again.

My friends daughter is named Myfanwy.. she just gets called Myfi (Miffy)

We have our name sorted there's only one person said its horrible but she has a granddaughter with an atrocious name so I just ignored her lol everyone else has said how lovely it is xx

Dida - well done you and massive congrats on your little baby girl!

The news from Betty on the other thread has really bothered me. Every time I've had a kick I just think how grateful I am that baby is safe. So much can go right in pregnancy but so much can go wrong as well and thinking how attached I am to my own baby already just makes me feel even more saddened for her. I know so many people on this thread alone will have lost babies and over on the TTC people are struggling to have babies they desperately want and it all seems just so bl00dy unfair.

I hope your all ok today though, having whinged about being ill I've finally dragged my self to the docs. I have a sinus infection but he advised to let it run it's course rather than taking antibiotics so I'm taking his advice.

I think I'm going to sit here and create a wishlist of baby things on Mothercare (thanks again Pigpen!) and then my partner is back from his work trip in Spain at 2.30pm! Yey! Although I bet it takes him 10 minutes to mess up my uber clean house!

I like Irish names as our surname is Irish but anyone I've told has made a face but I'm not letting that put me off.

Just while I remember - Mothercare are doing buy 1 get one half price on nursing bras/nightdresses etc

ETA: Any idea when someone's gonna ask me about a birthing plan? My next appointment is 32+2 weeks so I'm thinking maybe then?

It was 'mentioned' at 28 weeks here.. After a discussion on what is the point given no one reads notes so they sure as hell won't read a birth plan and they are just an exercise in making you think you have some level of input once you are in their hands you are no more than a piece of meat and will be forced to do as you are told one way or another.. usually to the detriment of your baby.. I said if you insist on wasting your time writing it I want it to say..

I will respond very negatively to being told I am stupid or lying.
I will respond with profanities if no one reads the pertinent bits of my notes.
If that consultant who should be struck off comes near me I will kill him with my own fair hands..

that is all.

Needless to say.. nothing was written down lol.
