Hey everyone!

Good luck for your scan nene, I'm sure you will come out with some lovely pics!

Re antenatal courses, we have paid for nct and have been to two sessions so far. It is expensive but I am really enjoying them, our teacher is lovely and there's a real sense of we are in this together and she emails links and websites through for us to look at re labour choices and stuff. She even did a special email for the dads with tons of info in about how they can prepare and give support through the different stages of labour.

The midwife that I see at my doctors surgery is nice enough but a bit dismissive really. She never seems to have the time to discuss things in detail, always has a student midwife with her who I speak to more than her and last appointment she spend most of it on the phone while filling in my notes! I didn't even know you had to call and book the parentcraft classes until one of the other couples at my nct told me! I may phone and see if I'm not too late to book the parentcraft ones too but round here they are either all day Saturday or all day Sunday and if I can't get in I won't be too disappointed tbh, I feel I have good support from the nct.

Friday at last! Baby has been really squirmy today, sometimes she wiggles around so much with (I think) her feet up in my ribs/lungs that it makes me feel sick!

I had eldests sports day today and nearly melted in the heat, I've been telling everyone for months that there will be a heatwave in June&July but they didn't believe me!

Good luck for your scan neneromanova - I know how you feel I was terrified all day yesterday but it all turned out ok and I'm sure yours will too

Well I'm back. We're team blue :male: scan was good, baby was not. Didn't want to show his face so buried it in the placenta for most of the scan. :rotfl: taste of what's to come I think. An awkward child. Got some nice pictures but I can't post them currently as we have no internet at home, just mobile internet

Well the blood, aches and feeling sick yesterday were signs of nothing at all So I'm still here with this baby showing no signs of shifting any time soon. A hot curry and a baby poking session are planned for tomorrow
