Aw so sorry to hear that Lola ..!
I got a nice basket thing when I left for my DS but I work in a small office cut off from rest of the building and I never got on with my manager (who presented the gift) I honestly wasnt expecting anything...im a really anti social person... -.-
You'd thought one person would of put effort in to sort something out..pretty nasty not to espically if they do this for othersCould of got away with it with me as we don't really do anything but buy choclates for xmas as an office!

Evening all.
Well I have tried to help with the packing up of the house but i failed miserably! Bump has been quite sore 2day and I have a pain in my right groin so even walking about has been uncomfortable. I feel really guilty as oh is working really hard to get everything packed and I just wish I could help him a little bit more.
Hope you have all had good weekends.
Missy moo...ope you have managed to have nice wkend with your oh. I am quite apprehensive about the section but was prepared for it to happen. They had mentioned 21st june back in january so have always had it at the back of my mind even though i didnt think i would get this far into the pregnancy! Would of liked to have had a natural birth as it be easier once they are born but as long as they are safe and well is all that matters. I'm team yellow as like the surprise of not knowing even though it would make life a bit easier if we did know the sex.

Welshcosmic - are those monitors in every tesco? That seems really good. I pass tesco extra on the way to work so may pop in this morning and get some?
Don't envy you all moving house now, i know id end up over doing it and being overtired for a week afterwards! My brother in law is moving friday and i said id help but he just answered - well what can u do to help, u cant do much!! So i've said i'll be on tea duty!Still here..... but working on that!0 -
I was super lucky we bought our house and got our keys the week after I found out I was pregnant back in 2011. We then knew we have 7-8 mths to sort it all out before bubs came along. All the packing had already been done, just a case of unpacking which was quite easy when your DH is borderline OCD!
It's hard going trying to do each room, especially when you are heavily pregnant. I don't envy any of you at all.Got married 13/11/10

Morning all!
Hot water has gone off again and taken the heating with it so I'm waiting in for the engineer - between 8am and 6pm, talk about an emergency call out, we called them at noon yesterday!
Waiting 'till 9 to call in to my boss, little bit nervous about it but I'm passed my qualifying week now so if they sack me it's okay LOL!
Tiny human is finally letting OH feel her kick, he's over the moon, bless him. She's been very active the last couple of days but it all appears to be normal according to the books? (25+6 today)
Just wanted to pass on the bounty offer on gro-bags, they're doing a "flash sale" starting from 11am today for £12.95 instead of £39.99 - Hope this Works
In other news, I phoned 6 River Island stores in Glasgow but I finally got my bag that I wanted - so happy! :rotfl:
ETA: I've also decided to tackle BBC's 100 books to read before you die list. I consider myself "a reader" but I've only memorably read about 8 books on the list, must rectify this! Pride & Prejudice is first up.My Debt Free Diary

Claree__x did you see the pelvic floor exercisers? They come with lubricant?!?! I think I'll just do kiegel exercises on my own!!
I just had a look :rotfl: Looks like more of a sex toy than an exerciser to me!My Debt Free Diary

Morning all! Glad you got your bag Claree!
We had a super productive weekend! Ordered our buggy, collected the crib, decorated the spare room (baby's room eventually), I gutted out my wardrobe and chest of drawers and packed away all the stuff that won't fit me for ages in vacuum storage bags to make room for the baby's things and we also bought some newborn stuff for bubs, just some sleep suits and vests (there are some packs of 5 vests down to £5 in M&S right now!) I am exhausted!! I also gave my Mum all the small baby stuff we have (up to three months) to wash for me. I wouldn't mind doing it at all, but I know she'll love to have all the tiny things drying on the line and I feel like she wants to be involved in the prep. So that's loads of things ticked off the list.
Oh and also my work mate brought in her carseat for me today. Her LO is 8months old and needs the next size and we know the history (no accidents and she was very careful with it) so we are comfortable with second hand in this case. £60 for the seat, easyfix base, rain cover and adaptors (we have ordered the same buggy as she has). It would have cost us over £200 for all that new!
Is anyone bothering with the perineal gel that's supposed to help prevent tearing? It might not work at all, but I thought why not, so I bought a tube from Mothercare to try...
I have my first session with my mat. cover today so we can assess how much time she'll need to spend with me before I go off. 4 weeks and counting!
Hope everyone has a good day!0 -
Hi ya just popping in to say, still pregnant, baby hasnt come yet!
Am trying desperately to get my assigment finished, Roo is really poorly and is awake all hours, which really isn't what I need at the moment, and were in the process of buying a bigger car, so theres lots of trips to the garage etc to be done. Really just want to get this assignment out of the way
on the upside, I have found a really nice leather bag on ebay, which im hoping will do nicely as a changing bag, will endeavour to pay for it today and hopefully it will be with me soon
39+4 today!0 -

I already have a pram from my first, but I'm undecided whether to get a rumble seat. I have an Uppababy Vista and you can clip on a 2nd seat, called a rumble seat so I don't need to go and buy a double buggy. Or should I just get a buggy board. My LO is going to be 19/20 mths old when no.2 pops out. Decisions, decisions!Got married 13/11/10
