Ah poor you Nikki Ann - I get it a lot too, and I'm 3 weeks behind you!

Has anyone used Amazon Family yet? If so, do the discounts only work on Amazon orders, or are they also available on 3rd party sellers? I've seen a cot mattress which I'm interested in, but it's not technically an Amazon seller, so not sure if it's worth the hassle of signing up and then remembering to cancel if I wouldn't get the discount anyway!

    Good evening all.
Just popping back to thank you all for your good wishes and congratulations.
Fingers crossed for you missymoo, I hope all goes well for you and soon.
I'm slowly getting used to being mum to a tiny one again, although it has all come back to me pretty quickly. She is so beautiful, I can't stop gazing at her. DD1 and DD2 feel exactly the same (I wasn't quite sure what there reaction would be once she actually arrived).
Anyway, hard work aside it's fantastic. I will keep checking in for everyone's updates.
    Take care all. XXX

Congratulations Claretsgirl - wow what a quick labour!:T Whats your secret???!!

Hope things go ok Dippy - its good that they picked up on it quickly. I have also had protein found in my urine but my BP is fine - so am on antibiotics to clear up what they think is an infection.

My home still isn't ready....and I'm number 6! Baby is really wiggly at the moment - hope it doesn't mean its "time up"! I need at least 2 more weeks, preferably 4!

I enjoyed a mooch around the shops today - buying nesting materials (!!!) - new cushions and the like!!!

Been bought some gorgeous clothes and gifts from the people I work with - one more week at work - I don't want to leave :(not sure that I am ready to spend a year away from work..... anyone else having these sorts of feelings?

Oh yes! I spent most of last week in floods of tears and as for my last day?! well! The flood that Noah experienced has nothing on me! I was a state.

Even now, it is Sunday morning and I am thinking about what I need to do work-wise in the week ahead. I still haven't unpacked my work bag and put my things away. I was laying in bed, this morning, thinking that, legally, I only need to be away for two weeks and I already have a nursery in place for my little bundle of joy...

I was verrry spoilt by work and it didn't help by having so many people telling me to make sure to come back!

I am sure that everything will change once our babies are here. Work becomes part of who we are. It's part of our identity so I guess that it is normal to not want to leave. Once we have our new mummy identities we won't want to go back!

I was a little sad to leave last time I went on mat leave but this time I couldnt wait, I left early as had loads of holiday to use up, and to be honest I found it so so hard going back, I missed being at home with everyone so much and leaving ds was awful and he was with Dh! I think it all changes once their here, I'm glad I won't be going back this time, its just not worth it as I would be working just to pay nursery fees. I still see everyone though, which I think helps xx

I can't wait to finish work! But it's different for me as I work from home so don't have the company of work colleagues to miss. Only 2 more working days... :D

Congrats on the birth of Lily, clarets. Hope I can have a quick labour like that!

Saw the mw on Friday and still measuring a couple of weeks behind. Same as with DS so must just be the way I carry them. She also said his head is on the brink of my pelvis so might start to engage soon - hopefully he's as keen to come out as I am to evict him! I mentioned my eviction plans to her and she said fresh figs are supposed to be good for getting labour going, so I'll have to add that to my list of things to try in a week or so ;)

My last day was an anti-climax people said "bye, bring the baby in when you feel up to it" and that was it! :(

No cards, no presents, no nothing! Not saying they have to give me anything, but it was really downheartening.

One of my close friends did come over with a card, flowers and cake though so I did feel better.

I couldn't wait to start my maternity just so I could lounge around the house and do nothing! Pain was baby decide to do the same thing, I was off work for over 2 weeks before she decided to make an appearance! Lazy minx!
    Got married 13/11/10 :)
    DD1 born 25/03/12 :D
    DD2 born 28/11/13 :D
