I would niknok, i can't tell you how much more difficult it is to try and write an essay with no sleep and a crying baby. Reduced me to tears last time. My assignment isn't due until next Thursday, hence why I am trying my hardest to get it finished ASAP, although its proving difficult at the moment even before baby is born with not sleeping and roo waking so early0

Oh and MVs right, you'll definitely know!!!!0

claretsgirl wrote: »Hi all! A bit of a late one this evening. Sorry not to post yesterday but I was busy resting. Lily was born at 10.49 yesterday morning, a healthy 7lbs 13oz (so much for being supposedly tiny!) following a 1hr 12 minute labour. We are both doing great. Came home at tea time. Feeling a bit tired following no sleep at all on Tuesday night but otherwise OK. Thank you all so much for your support. XXX
Wow! Congratulations! Hope you are both doing really well!Morning
Well not sure if things are on the move for me!
I have had back ache for about 5 days now on and off, TMI have had loose bowels for about 3 weeks, baby feels really really low and like she is going to fall out, came down with flu like symptons 2 days ago, quite a bit of extra discharge since the weekend and then last night went to bed with back ache, woke at 5.30am and my pj bottoms were wet through!! OH found it highly amusing, I went to the bathroom and changed, climbed back into bed and couldnt sleep because of the pain in my back.... still no pain in my belly though. Baby is being very fidgety today too, a lot more than usual and isn't under my rib anymore.
Really hope this is the start of something!! x
Ooh could be the start of something! Exciting!I think maybe you should go and get checked though in case your soggy PJ moment was your waters. I was told that you should phone the midwife if you think your waters might have gone even if you have no pains because they like to check you to know how long your waters have been broken for before birth due to increased chance of infection...

Wow niknok, sounds like things are imminent.
Anyone else finding the birthing ball useful to sit on when filling / emptying the washing machine ?! If you're struggling with that chore, try it, surprisingly comfy (but be careful with your balance).
What is everyone doing about hospital bags (for you pre/post and baby) ? are you taking one big one with everything or several. Have started putting it all in a small overnight suitcase but that's nearly full with just my stuff, will be taking my 2 week holiday case at this rate :rotfl:0 -
How are things now niknok, have you spoken tithe midwife?0

Omg I'm first! Maybe that's why I'm getting pressure pains! Really feel like I need a wee but I've been twice already and I don't. Feels a bit like I'm sitting on a knitting needle..... Bit worried as OH is home in less than 18 hours but that's the soonest he can get home. Just hold in there baby!0
-
hate to say it, but my DD2 birth started with me running to the toilet every 15 mins as I thought I needed a wee, then came the Plug and the pains. Could just be getting ready for the big day though
HANG IN THERE FOR 18 MORE HOURS BABY!!What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
Oh god nenoromanova!! Don't say that. I've taken a load of toys upstairs for roo and am in bed, trying to rest, so as not to make the baby come too soon.
17 hours until OH is home! Not that I'm counting down.0 -
Omg! I was number six yesterday and now I'm number four! Lots of lovely new babies!
I had my hospital appointment today and it went really well. The midwife who I spoke with was lovely and gave me lots of good advice
I am now officially on mat leave and spent most of the morning crying at work! I have been thoroughly spoiled0
