Massive congrats Clarets!! Ah lovely news :) and nice quick birth!wowwee!!
Ladies I have been admitted with suspected pre eclampsia :-( went to have my BP rechecked today before my breastfeeding class and it was way up, then had lots of protein my wee so with my swollen feet they had to get me sent to hozi straight off. I've had blood tests but no results yet, they gave me a nasty steroid shot then said I'd be stayin in overnight :( I am worried as my BP isn't coming down much, baby's hb and movements are all good but I'm not ready to have the baby yet at 35 wks! It's scary. Anyone been though this?i just don't know what to expect x

Congratulations clarets, yaaaay, so happy for you.

Ooooh dippy love, poor you. Well you're in the best place and I hope you'll be home soon and it's just a precaution. Hugs my dear

I feel like absolute rubbish. I woke up at 12 a d didn't get to sleep until 4 and Roo woke up at 5. Feel sick I'm so tired. As I didn't sleep the night before, it's not like I can have a nap as Roos running about all day. Really don't know what to do. Really hope I don't go into labour today I'd be just too tired to push the baby out. Still have my assignment to write, which is stressing me the most.

    Hi Ladies

Has anyone had really bad acid reflux in later pregnancy?

I'm 34 weeks and getting it really bad now, do I just wait and speak to MW about it?

Guessing its a case of taking rennie and gaviscon?

    Thanks

There are more effective treatments you can take, e.g. omeprazole. Particularly at 34 weeks when your baby's development is all but complete. If you're really suffering see your GP.

    Morning :)

Well not sure if things are on the move for me!

I have had back ache for about 5 days now on and off, TMI have had loose bowels for about 3 weeks, baby feels really really low and like she is going to fall out, came down with flu like symptons 2 days ago, quite a bit of extra discharge since the weekend and then last night went to bed with back ache, woke at 5.30am and my pj bottoms were wet through!! OH found it highly amusing, I went to the bathroom and changed, climbed back into bed and couldnt sleep because of the pain in my back.... still no pain in my belly though. Baby is being very fidgety today too, a lot more than usual and isn't under my rib anymore.

Really hope this is the start of something!! x

Hey niknok have you phoned the midwife to see if they can check if your waters have broken? I hope it is the start of something for you. I've got 25 hours until OH is home, hopefully I can get some of my assignment done then and get some much needed sleep!

    ooh that sounds promising niknak!

i recall feeling really constipated, with a very sore bladder and back ache when I frst went into labour last time. It felt like I needed a good poo (sorry for tmi!)

If you start feeling the pains coming on and off with a gap inbetween, then that sounds like early labour contractions.

Good luck. Try and stay mobile and also if you feel very uncomfortable, a nice warm bath really helps x

I did think about phoning the midwife. Think i'll see if the pains progress and then give her a call :)

I seriously should do my essay, its due a week today and i have done 100 of the 2000 words. Might have a good bash at it later on. x

Sore bladder hits the nail on the head and the need for a good poo :rotfl:

I have downloaded an app for my phone and i'm trying to track when the pains are coming. Rather hard when you don't know what they feel like.

I'm going to try and keep busy and triple check my hospital bag!
