I agree with her!
At the moment I cannot change a nappy, lift the little ones, dressing them is extremely painful. I cannot get their juice down to make them a drink, I can't take them out anywhere or even play in the garden with them.. Basically I am a burden to them and need to be taken out and shot!
Once Stringy arrives we will be able to do those things again but this week I am feeling very sorry for myself and can't even get to collect Squeaks glasses from the opticians which is normally a 2 minute walk!!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I think it's ok to feel sorry for ourselves sometimes. In a very short space of time we're finding we can't sleep/have no energy/can't do the things we'd usually do/are in pain - that's not easy (& frustrating!) to deal with. At least we can expect to improve dramatically once the babies arrive0

Oh Dippy, bad luck. Hopefully the baby brain card will help!?
As for those who have a toddler and are expecting again, you have my utmost respect! I'm shattered most of the time, takes me 2 hrs to do something that would have taken 10 mins before and that's just me and bump. To try and look after a 2nd one ... eeek!
My sister would go along with the once there are 2 you just get on with it. Her routine was fairly well mapped with her 1st, so the 2nd just slotted in.
Still waiting 40+4.

Hey MV and big bird, I too have the same concerns, I'll have an 18 month old when the baby arrives and OH works away, so not at all sure how I'm going to cope!0

I'm just lucky my pregnacy isn't as bad as my last one!! I admit I had rough patch at the start but with my first I could barely make it out the bathrooms some mornings and my OH constantly came home to me lying on the floor of the bathroom ...
I only just avoided hospital as my doctor said I was serouisly dehydrated and gave me 3 days to sort it out i.e drinking loads..cause Iw as being sick all the time so I just carried a pint of water round with me and forced myself to drink it as the last thing I wanted was to be in hospital..!
I wouldn't be able to cope with that and my DS now. :eek:People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
I decided last night (after crying and being pathetic) that I really need to man up a bit. There's nothing wrong with me. Yes I'm tired and sore in the evenings but this is what I wanted and there are thousands of people who'd kill to be in my position. So positive head on today.
Then I went for lunch to the shopping centre (M&S food..mmmm) and my bump was hurting like hell every step I took lol - someone is testing me!My Debt Free Diary

Good afternoon all.
Just got back from my midwife appointment. Everything fine. Still expected to be a little 'underweight'. I have another appointment next Friday if I make it that far.
Last day working yesterday. I was shattered but slept soooo well last night. I will now have to concentrate on being properly pregnant for the next week and watch Homes under the hammer in pyjamas!!
Please don't panic about having both a toddler and a baby. Similar to pigpen there is a fourteen month gap between my two and I would recommend it if it is possible and it's extremely practical. I'm worried now about my fifteen year age gap. Lol. I joke about it but there is still the possibility of a little jealousy or resentment. My eldest has been through an awful lot and has, in the last year or so, gone from being a typical sixteen year old who is very independent to being quite clingy and insecure.
Hope everyone is keeping well. Here's to a sunny weekend. XXX0 -
Hey claree, I'm trying to be positive too but it's not really working. Really struggling to walk today and had to Get OH to get toddler out the bath as I physically couldn't.
