MV, not sure I would class it as sexy time! more a case of doing the deed to try and ensure a result. Lol.

I can assure you there was very little sexy about it :rotfl:...................

OH wouldn't even let me suggest names until the girls arrived.

I mentioned the anomaly scan to him last night and asked if he wanted to come. He said he isn't bothered either way but if I want him to come he will and if not he won't.. Do you think that is a test of my feelings for him? Or does he actually not give a toss?

I suspect he does give a toss. He's a man. Men do weird things.

I've been told to go with a full bladder (I thought it was full but she said it was empty) :rotfl: so I'm going to drink until I'm almost wetting myself and see if that works. Means I get to have another picture though :D

It's funny, I don't know why but different places/hospitals give you different rules. My sonographer was a bit annoyed with me for having a full bladder! He said it was stopping them seeing everything properly. I just drank a bottle of water in the car on the way there and had to go to the loo twice during the scan to get all the fluid out! :rotfl: I wouldn't have minded going with an empty bladder if told to!

Thanks for adding me to the list - feels 'official' now :o

Thank you ladies for your comments re holidaying. I am planning to use a sling (and have a couple - a stretchy and structured one) as it is more practical than a pram. I've also a standard travel cot and my sister-in-law is lending me a pop-up travel cot that will be suitable until approx 6 months so would be perfect for this trip.

(Savage I'm very jealous you've just been to SA; as my folks will be coming over for a few months initially, I'm not getting home until the end of the year).

Re names, as I was convinced that baby would be early (think babe didn't get that memo as almost at due date!) I threw a hissy fit with DH around 22 weeks and we agreed both boy and girl names then (as we're yellow). Prior to that, he'd not engage in any conversation about it and didn't contribute anything to the "discussions" I had with him about names. I think it doesn't become real for the man until much later on... like now when he regularly gets beaten up by baby in bed :rotfl:

chonorla, here's hoping Mini P plays ball.

My feet are currently so swollen, they're larger than my ankles :( but according to mw, this is completely normal. It is SO uncomfortable though!

Hope that everyone else is well

    take care

Ooh! No cankles here. My DD2 is obsessed with checking them though, just in case! She seems desperate for me to have more pregnancy symptoms, bless her. She is so excited. X

I have cankles as well as swollen feet and hands. In fact, I have gone up a shoe size and had to have a ring cut off the other day. I know that it is only temporary but being fat and swollen makes me feel sad.

savage - did the acupuncture hurt???? (I hate needles)

I have a week to look at other options - do you think it worked with bringing on labor?

    xxx

probably not, but would work for some. And no, it didn't hurt, did feel a bit strange though :) the points were hands and ankles...

How can I get my dh to understand what spd is ? He just dont understand at all.

Men with names, with ds1 he didnt help till I was almost ready to pop,
    Ds2 I chose it , he agreed

Ds3 I chose a unisex name but he loves it for a boy where's I wanted it for a girl and it looks like we are having it, I suppose I better let him chose one
