I just realised I haven't had my blood pressure taken or my bump measured at all this pregnancy! Hope all is ok.

Got my 22 week scan tomorrow. Scared and excited in equal measures. Have been having some horrible dreams recently. My mentalism really comes out when I am asleep it would seem!

You'll be grand :) I haven't had my bump measured either but they've taken my BP about 3 million times!

OH is being entirely useless with names. I keep suggesting them and he's completely non-commital about whether he likes them and says stuff like "We'll have to wait 'till she's born..." - I flippin' know that, I just want to have some names that I know I like. He's also suggested none, at all! Huff.

I've not had any appointments other than the booking one and nor will I. All is fine though, blood present in urine baby got super busy legs, I can barely walk and I have cankles.. and I've gained over 2 stone already..

    Don't I feel glamourous!?

I didn't get my bump measured til about 27 wks i think so not to worry. Mind you there wasn't much there for a while until it popped out and everyone started calling me huge :(
Ankles finally look less swollen today, slept with my feet propped up on my body pillow! was beginning to panic, then i watched the episode of Call the Midwife when the woman had eclampsia and started thinking allsorts!
My OH is crap with names too, he hasn't suggested a single one! I emailed him this link the other day to encourage him to start thinking about baby's arrival! Not that he's not interested, just he is so busy renovating our house and trying to get it ready i think he forgets what's on it's way!

He read some and told me loads about changing nappies!

OH wouldn't even let me suggest names until the girls arrived.

I mentioned the anomaly scan to him last night and asked if he wanted to come. He said he isn't bothered either way but if I want him to come he will and if not he won't.. Do you think that is a test of my feelings for him? Or does he actually not give a toss?

Could be a bit of both really. He doesn't sound best pleased though with what you've told us.

You better get thinking of some boys names PP ;) got any in mind that you like?

No, not really.. and I am torn between Tallulah and Tahlia for a girl though seeing as there isn't a chance in hell it is a boy really given the track record, I don't care what Bounty say!.. if he is showing no interest in it before it is born I am picking its names.. I have decided :p.. and I don't care if he likes them, if he doesn't well that is even better for me!

I have my spoiled 3 y/o head on today lol

    I doubt it's a test - that's more a woman thing to do than a guy I've found!

OH wants to have a "list" of names that we reduce until we have 2 or 3 that we like. So far the list has been completely compiled and reduced by me. I know I'm probably being unreasonable at 21 weeks but I keep getting asked about names and I feel like I want to talk about it and he's being rubbish!

    Spoilt 3 y/o here too!

I've been to MW today, all is going well, I'm having fortnightly blood tests as I have problems with antigens and been told today if the levels in my blood keep increasing then I'll be induced at 36 weeks (ahhhh!)

Just booked in for an active birth class at the GP surgery, its in 4 weeks time - has anyone else had experience of these? What goes on? It's a 9-3 all day thing!
New first time mummy to a gorgeous little boy!

Hello ladies - am still here with bump :D

So clearly none of the "hot" stuff worked :rotfl: Bath and curry were lovely and lets just say we had to be inventive with the 3rd one :o

MV - Have cleaned my large kitchen/diner floor on all fours and am now eyeing up the oven :T Even if baby is a no-show my house is spotless at the moment :D

I may try reverse psychology and completely ignore baby and see what happens. If he is a typical man - he will put in an appearance at the most inappropriate time :D

claree - we had a list that we whittled down to just 5 names and was hoping to get a glimpse of baby before we made a final decision. But I seem to be veering towards one name as first name and one as the second name. Just hope they suit him, when he (finally) makes an appearance.

Off to make a homemade curry for tea - I can manage that one everyday

MV, not sure I would class it as sexy time! more a case of doing the deed to try and ensure a result. Lol. Hope you're doing ok. I didn't get measured until about 28 weeks so don't worry.
pigpen, I wish I was as brave as you to do without appointments. I wouldn't have ended up as I did last week! It's been one balls up to another. I have to see the consultant again on Friday, for what it's worth it's so tempting not to bother. I'm sure you look fabulous no matter how you are feeling. Stick to your guns re names. I intend to. :-)
Chonorla, hope all's well with you. Bet your house looks lovely and clean. My kitchen could do with a once over if you have time! Enjoy your curry. Hopefully you wont be making another tomorrow.
nene, thanks for putting me back on the list. :-)
    Take care all. X
