Just posting again so that I can add myself to team pink :cool: I'm so excited, I know (as above) it's not 100% but they did seem pretty sure and tiny human was very co-operative with the scan lady.

Still waiting (impatiently) to feel proper kicks. Just so glad that the scan is done and everything looks okay - means I can get on to actually decorating instead of mentally now.

I also bought a pram on ebay the other day - total impulse buy - a Graco Quatro Travel System with carry cot, pram & car seat for £62. I'm thinking that even if it's not what I'm wanting it'll do as a spare for my mums house

Tried to reply the other day but after typing it it then got lost. The last time I posted I had been admitted for steroids for baby to be delivered due to my pre eclampsia. Well, my BP started behaving so they decided not to go ahead with my section on the 14th march and leave it til the 4th Aplril as planned. So got sent home.

Fast forward to the next morning and I started bleeding but had no pain, headed into triage and in the space of couple of hours I then started having pains and was already 4 cm dilated. Ended up having an emergency section about an hour later and baby A arrived weighing 5lbs 5oz.

Got home on the Sunday night feeling not to bad but was readmitted twice that first week due to ongoing blood pressure problems which are still ongoing now.

He has been good as gold and breast feeding well. He also gets a bottle of formula last thing at night on the advice of the consultant due to him being early and small and incredibly hungry from the start. Just want to say to anyone else that considers giving a bottle of formula while breast feeding that if it works for you keep doing it. It is incredible how judgmental and opinionated that people get about mixed feeding but follow your own instinct and as I say if it works keep doing it. Sorry, for getting on my high horse but have had 1 midwife telling me to cut out the formula and that she couldnt believe that it was recommended i do this and to ebf but every other midwife and conusltant I have seen since he was born have fully supported and encouraged this as it's working for us and he is absolutely thriving.

Just adding myself to the list

Hi everyone :wave: Great to see some familiar names over here. Baby number two here and we are hopefully going to be on Team Yellow if we can stay strong enough. Not sure how we will cope at the anomaly scan. I've only told a few people that we're pregnant and now it feels strange announcing, so might keep it to ourselves a little bit longer.

12+1 today and had my NT scan and all was good. A nice bouncing baby - measuring 2 days ahead but they don't change your official due date here unless it's more than a week's difference.
