neneromanova - not sure how that will work for me???
DS1 was 9lb 5 oz - 13 days late.
DD1 was 9lb 8 oz - 2 days late.
DS2 was 9lb 9oz - 2 weeks early
Am not even thinking about the size of number 4 - I am already 38+5 today and am looking at induction on my due date :rotfl:
My thinking is he has got to get get out somehow - whatever size he is!!! i

chornola , you never know you may have a small baby!!
a girl i know had 4 children and her last was only 7lb something and the rest was 9lb +, but she didnt find out she was pregnant till gone 5 months as all the test kept coming back negiative.
my ds1 weighed 8lb 6 - 1 day late
ds2 weighed 9 lb 3 - 12 days late ( so if he was on time i reckon he would of weighed about the same as ds1)
ds3 is going to be five days early and according to growth scan should be around 7lb 11,
im thinking more of the line of 8lb 3....
cant wait to meet him now though, keep wondering if his going to be long and skinny, no hair and brown eye like ds1 or fat and chucky with loads of hair and blue eyes like ds2.
only got 17 days now!!0 -
Is anyone else suffering from horrible hormonal swings?
Honestly I feel like I constantly have PMT, it's horrible.
OH is generally just getting on my wotsits at the moment, and I know partly it is to do with how I am feeling (also it is partly due to him being an ar5e and completely insensitive).
I also have a horrible cold and blocked sinuses which is keeping me from sleeping, so I feel like a zombie most of the day.
I don't suppose there is much to be done for hormones is there?
I am also feeling hugely low about turning 40 next weekI know it's only a number blah blah, but I really can't believe I've got to 40 already..I felt bad enough turning 30!
Any wise words please? Feeling down and a bit lonely.Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

Oh lovey. It's so normal. Of course you're up and down, pregnancy's hard work, you're not sleeping well, you have a cold, the weather's miserable. It's understandable that you feel low.
I'm 40 in a couple of weeks. I think when I look at Freddie it takes the edge off things because I think 'you know what? I'm absolutely blessed. I have my lovely husband and my beautiful son. What else matters? I've achieved what I want to achieve'.
Tomorrow will be a brighter day. Don't feel sad about feeling sad. Just be kind to yourself.
On a more practical note... got to go. Freddie's just shat himself big time."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
Big hugs MV. The hormones are a biatch!
Can't help with the turning 40 - I've got that to come next year. Though my sister told me she found turning 30 a lot worse. (She's in her 50s now and says she's given up worrying about her age!)
Do you think maybe the hormones are making you feel worse about it? You might be turning 40, but you'll be doing it with 2 beautiful children. So you're way ahead of where you were when you turned 30.
I bought a humidifier for the bedroom as I've been suffering from a blocked nose a lot in this pregnancy. They aren't cheap, but it really helps. Maybe something like that might help with your sinuses. (I just have to make sure I don't have ours on every night, else it makes a damp patch on the ceiling)

Thanks fluff. I know I have my DS who is fab, and I am so lucky to be pregnant agaian..I am really grateful.
My OH is getting on my nerves at the moment though. He can be so detached from me, and isn't at all romantic or particularly attentive.
Ah well...I should stop moaning. Many more have a lot worse to contend with. Just wish I didn't feel constantly like I either want to tear someones head off or burst into tears..Its so draining!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -

I have everything crossed that he may be smaller!! I know the scans and predictions are not always accurate so am remaining positiveI would love a small or even just average baby!!! One that fits in newborn clothes would be lovely
My babies aren't particularly chubby, they are all really long (60-62cm) so I think that is where they carry the weight? More skinned rabbit that bruiser styleAll of my family (except me and my now dearly departed Nan) are over 6 foot - even the women. So I am guessing that is where the length is coming from? It appears to be a tradition my children are following as my 14 year old son is 6ft 4 inches and my 4 year old daughter was measured in school the other day and she was just the right proportions for a 7 year old and does wear 6-7 year old clothes, sometimes bigger.
I used to work with a family and Mum had 6 children - the first 3 were over 11lb each  and she then met a new partner and had 3 babies with him that were all 6-7lb each - so I know it can happen. Lets just hope it is with me
The only thing I can be quite sure of is that mine will have red hairWe are a family of red heads (dad included when he had any :rotfl:) And they have all been born with a head full of hair!!!
Can't believe we are now at the top end of the list now! I remember when we all tentatively moved over and kept flitting between the threads for a while

Big hugs and a big boo to the hormones
I have felt like that on and off during this whole pregnancy. One minute I am deliriously happy and everything is perfect and within a second I want to call DH every awful name under the sun. His crime? - probably just breathing the wrong way :rotfl:
I just tell my DH when I am feeling like a first class bi**h and he gives me a wide berth(Has to be wide with this huge belly lol). Just remind yourself it has got nothing to do with you being greatful/ungreatful - it is those blooming hormones doing their job of cooking a nice juicy baby for you
My DH is not romantic at all, not for want of trying - he just doesn't have a clue lol. Sometimes it does get on my wick when friends are going on about presents/ surprises etc but I tell myself he is good in other ways. He is fantastic with the kids and has decorated the whole house through for the arrival of this baby (Yes I am sure baby will be pleased :rotfl:) while working really long hours.
