Eek, I am almost in bold... Thought my waters might have started trickling this morning, but really not sure. I've put a pad in my undies, but it seems to have stopped now. I think this is going to be my life now until the baby's here - spotting signs of labour that probably aren't real!0

Can't believe how I'm moving up the thread, feels like it's getting close now.
I'm afraid I must confess to pangs of jealousy. SIL has a habit of getting in on our news and she's kind of doing it again. When we were engaged and getting married within the year, suddenly they got engaged as well even though they had no intention of a wedding for another few years.
Now she's announced she's 5 months pregnant, due 3 months or so after us (? frustrating coincidence of timing since we told them at 8 weeks?) I'm annoyed with myself as should be really happy for her. But she always has been the precious one in MIL's eyes. DH doesn't really get as much time and attention spent on him as she does, always seems to have a crisis where they have no money and have to call on IL's and they've nearly brought up her 1st child as she was too young to cope ... however happily they're now expecting their third. I just thought that this might be the opportunity for DH to establish a definite part in his family, (we live further away than everyone else, but do try to see them often) as we'd have a new baby for them to want to show interest in.... and so far they have, but I fear we'll just be left to "get on with it" now.
Hmmmmm. Unnecessarily grumpy, and feel awful should be so happy for her, want to pinch myself and get over it.
Someone slap me!

Lazywife I wouldn't worry - I get jealous/emotional about all sorts at the moment!
Friday, for example, I completely flipped out 'cause I hate our house and don't want to bring a baby in to it. Okay, rationally, it's not that bad but I was sobbing & stressing like I lived in a shack! My Debt Free Diary

Lazy.. that sounds perfectly normal from your POV, your child won't miss out they won't know any different it will be the inlaws missing out... OH's sister is very much the same she has been ttc since we had our 2.5 year old and we are now onto our 3rd and she hasn't managed 1 thankfully (she drinks and takes illegal drugs so would harm a baby greatly! I wouldn't wish infertility on anyone but would hate to think of an unborn child being put at risk) When she finds out about this one there will be all manner of histrionics!
My response... bring it on!! I am far to tactless to be nice about it!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Getting my wedding/engagement ring back from the jeweller as well either tomorrow (if I catch them before they post it to send it to my work) or Thursday if I don't - feel very lost without it!My Debt Free Diary

Wow Clare, your wedding looked fab. What a delight to have that blog as a memory too.
Bet you do feel lost without your rings too.
Also thanks for the hormonal support and from you too pigpen. It's amazing how sleeping on it can put things into a better perspective.
Feeling lots of wriggles today. Got growth scan on Thurs, so no MW this week. Would be interested to see if baby is in the right position now I'm 36 weeks, as kicks feel like they're lower down now.
BTW Saffa if you're lurking, hope you're progressing ok. Thinking of you and your family.x
P.s. Helen hope your baby bump bruising is getting better.0 -

Hormones are ridiculous things. Before I knew I was pregnant my friend (ex colleague but still close) announced she was 3 months. I was so jealous. I wanted to be happy for her but I couldn't help actually hating her for being pregnant. A week later I found out I was too :rotfl:
I never told her I hated her obviously!!My Debt Free Diary

Very bizarre but I would kill for a sandwich with wafer thin cooked chicken about now. Fresh bread.
Might have to make a pit stop on the way home...My Debt Free Diary

Afternoon gang.
Just wanted a quick show of hands re a couple of girls names I am considering.
If you hate both then no worries, I won't be offended
Worth saying that I have been told that there is a 70% chance I am having a girl, but until my 22 week scan (2 weeks from now) it could still be a boy!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0
