lol I asked my OH the same question and he didn't like it either.

Oooohhh don't get me started on 'Ms'. Oh they make me think of shrivelled up old prunes. Much nicer being a Miss.

LOL... I use Ms.. I still use my exh's surname because I really hate mine.. and the older children have it obviously.. yet I lumbered the girls with it.. MWAHAHAHAHAAA

I'd happily change to OH's surname though.. if he asked.

Hiya, I was hoping for abit of advice.

I recently fount out I'm pregnant and my OH says I was last on my period when he was on nights, so I took his word and worked out that I am 5 weeks tomorrow (taking the estimated date as 9th Jan)

Every pregnacy is differernt but at 6 weeks on my 1st (this will be my 2nd) I had horrible morning sickness which lasted throughout my pregnacy so kind of expecting to have sicnkess which I have and has delveloped last few days but isnt that bad yet but have also had vivid dreams feeling faint walking up stairs...I didnt have it easy last time either but my point anyway is that these syptoms are in line with my last pregnacy date wise.

Now heres the thing, I am def feeling movement in my stomach - I know that the baby moving would be stupid at this point because he/she is 5 weeks and the kind of 'movement' I am experiencing is more like when my little guy was 20 weeks..fluttering with actal movement feeling etc.

So I am wondering is this something I should be worried about? Everything kind of points to me being 5 weeks but I have only ever felt like this when my 1st one was moving but I had it yday as well..

    Maybe its triplets -_-

wind landed me in hospital with a suspected bowel obstruction/appendicitis when I was pg with DS2.

I felt baby shifting about from about 10 weeks and proper kicks from about 13/14 weeks

Best thing todo is go to your doctors/midwife and wait for your dating scan to come through as no of us can say how far along you are, if you are only 5weeks its to early to feel ne movements. It sound like trapped wind :-) but u may be further than u think
  • Hi neneromanova, my due date is 18th March 2013 and I dont know what the sex is. A little surprise.

Also I'm not sure how this thread works - once the baby is born do you post on another thread - is this one only for ppl 25 weeks plus?

Sorry but i'm fairly new to posting on MSE website.

    Thanks,

    Added you Jewels :)

This Thread is for anyone expecting. Some people thought this thread moved too quickly and didn't feel right for them being only like 6 weeks pregnant as they we're taking about things in advance like 20wks+ But I like this thread, always used it for my 2 DD's so just jumped straight back in here even though I'm not due til October. :)

Once baby is born, you can keep posting here if you like or you can go onto the MSE Newborn to 1 year Baby Club 1. Up to you really :)
What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..
  • Midwife today - let's see if I can NOT do the leaving the pee sample in the car all day so it half-freezes and goes an amusing colour trick this time (although pink pee was rather cool). My luck with pee samples this pregnancy's been amusing - we had the one where the bathroom light bulb went mid-sample so aiming was difficult, the pink frozen one...

Getting mildly freaked out by the idea that the next appointment will be 34 weeks and is the one I never got to keep last time around - that's messing with my head more than a little bit today.
Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!
