nearly I think. I'm on maternity leave now so I am going to start filling the freezer. Just need to get a few more things for my bag seeing as my hospital stay will probably be a bit longer now than I was expecting.0 -

No you won't you'll be fine and the MLU won't have you lol. By the end of that 24 hours you will be so tired all you will want is your own bed.

Our local birthing centre doesn't allow post-natal stays at all. You can't transfer from hospital to the MLU. Have you got confirmation that yours will?"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

I really loved my food when I had both my babies in hospital, I really didn't find a fault at all.
I didn't mind the beds and pillows either, was always very clean and tidy, got offered a lot of help if needed, plus the midwife would look after your baby so you could get some sleep or have a bath in peace, was lovely.
I had no problems with the nhs at all
I stayed in 3 days with ds1 out of choice
And with ds2 I stayed in about 24 hours at the most , I did want to be go home straight away but wasn't allowed as he had shoulder dysteria
If I do have to have a c section with this one(I've gota chose) I have been told it usually 3 days before you can go home.
The only thing I didn't like was being woke up to someone giving birth screaming but that just one of those things xx0
