dundee not something they ask here! Last time i stayed two nights due to blood loss / birth more than 24 hours after waters broke, and they said I could stay longer if needed to! Really wanted to get home although did miss the nice bed with the buttons to put the back up and down, so much easier for feeding!
It as annoying being in as had epidural and so couldn't move but then got told off for not drinking enough, oh that would be the water you put out of my reach then!
hngrymummy we have one of those although ours is 26 months! In the end Daddy slept in her single bed with her whilst I managed to get some sleep in our bed. Very grateful to him!
elisabeth I took my rings off a couple of months ago as didn't want to risk not being able to.
I'm off out for lunch now, having a lazy day after being uber productive yesterday which killed my back!
Hope all you ladies having a good day x x0 -
Hello Ladies. I'm a former subscribe and poster to a previous edition of this thread and will be TTC again as of this month. Can't wait to join you again. In the mean timeI may lurk :-). Just wanted to ask a quick question tho. Does anyone know when it is you're not allowed to fly? Saw some cheap flights to visit family n Spain at Easter (also my husbands birthday) then panicked thinking i might not be allowed to fly if i'm pregnant by then. Last time I got pregnant the first month i was off the pill. I know it may take longer this time- do you think i should leave booking anything until we're actually expecting? sorry to waffle. just thought one of you lovely ladies will know.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Dundeediva yes they do bloods at 28 weeks (granted last time my midwife then went off on the sick and the locum ones couldn't actually access the GP's system to ever get the results looked at)... quite often my midwife gives the blood forms in advance if we're going to the hospital for things like glucose tolerance tests (which I am - again - oh joy) so they can just fill the extra vials then and save one set of jabbing with needles.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0

Oh just for your interest my LO is a little boy age 19 months. Labour was very long and ended in an emergency c-section as his head was too big for me
Looking back i wish i'd had an epidural so i could have slept as i was exhausted when he was born. Went into labour 4am and he was born 5am two days later. Also late in labour i wanted to pee but it wasn't happening. When they gave me spinal block - barely felt needle btw and cos its behind you you don't have to see it (for those with needle phobias) - the pain went instantly and they put in a catheter which by the time i was in recovery i'm not kidding must have had 2 litres of pee in it. no wonder i felt uncomfortable.
Afterwards as my body tried to get rid of excess water my ankles and feet had a ridicilous amount of water retention. hand too so i agree about rings. but my feet freaked me out as they literally wobbled- only went back to normal whrn i got jome 4 days later. Anyway sorry if thats tmi. but might be helpful to someone? important thing is my little boy brings joy to me and all our family everyday. And at no point, including while in labour did i ever consider it so bad i wouldn't do it all again2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Afternoon Ladies,
Congrats to all the new mummies! And welcome to newbies.
Only 28+4 here and I'm already uncomfortable, pain in my hips when standing or walking too long & now when I sleep, and the most irritating ache in my upper back which no matter what I do won't go away! I know it's all for a good cause but it doesn't help with the grumpiness.
On the more positive side, we've started to gather clothes of varying ages & other little bits either donated or picked up in the January sales, he now has more clothes than both of us put together! We've also bought a travel system for half price from Kiddicare that arrived yesterday. It really does seem more real now!
I have to go for bloods on Friday along with my anti-d jab, and found it interesting that the Rhesus status comes from the father. Must remember to book whooping cough jab too.
Ooops rambled there! Back to lurking.0 -
Hello all,
Been for my whooping cough and flu jab, I'm good with injections but they hurt!!
Oh mum came round for a brew and I didn't know she was coming so the house was a mess! Oops!
Now I'm chilling out until oh gets home from work. Tomorrow I hate aquanatal which should be fun. The last time I went I was only 23 weeks when I went so we will see if I can move the same lolNewly Married, not a 2b anymore!! Mum to two wonderful boys!0 -

~Hi ya, a quick update from me...
When to Chester with MIL at 1:00 and just came back !! My godness that was a long day !! feel so tired right now, baby kept moving and feel a lot of pressure in my pelvis. I spent my £50 gift card in Sainsburys so stocked up in nice cute things but nothing for me. I am not buying anything for me as it is pointless right now.
Hope everyone sleeps well, see you tomorrow ladies xxMejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -
Soooo much pelvic pain today - got to grit my teeth and try to get the little lady to her baby group, and get to Tesco to buy a birthday card for my brother... but if I'm in this much pain at the start of the day it never bodes well for what it'll be like by bedtime.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0
