hi ladies. happy new year!!! hope you all had a good day!

i think things are starting with me here! I woke up with cramps at 8 and then managed to go back to bed.. had a weird day where i couldnt walk much but woke up at 11 and felt a discharge come out of me and when iw ent to the loo i saw it stained with pink blood but looked watery. sorry for tmi. :p

then we went to the in laws and over there i started feeling weird and some ouchy pains..rang up the labour ward and she said seems like my plugs going.. then to keep an eye on pains.. home now and went and sat in the bath which was nice as i am still having period pains in tum and back and have had some ouchy pains. am timing them dh so lets see. i really hope this is it.. i went for another wee before my bath and this time i saw the discharge and blood with it but just a bit. so fingers crossed i hope it all happens tonight and i dont care plus i want bubs here and want dh not to go back to work tomorrow and avoid the midwife. :)

Congrats bikerchick! so happy for you. post some pics when you can please?

We get the black mould growing in our bedroom as well on the external wall, we've never had it before this winter, think its because the atmosphere is so wet and damp. If I keep the windows open its fine but then you are freezing your butt off, can't win! So we keep wiping the walls, hoping it clears up a bit before baby comes as baby will be coming in with us at the start.

Dizzi - our house is really old too, 105 years old this year. We also have the original deeds and drawings for when the house was built which is lovely. I don't envy you having to find an octagonal shaped window, who makes a window that shape? :)

Nomorespending - I'm sorry to say I didn't start feeling energetic until I hit the 3rd tri, the 2nd one was the worst one for me health wise, bizarre!

Welcome militarytwins - how exciting to be having twins, I will edit the list posted earlier on and pop your details on. Have you any thoughts on which pram you might get?

Really hoping this is it for you Rups, fingers crossed.

Just trying RLT for the first time, not overly impressed with the taste but I reckon I can put up with it to have a cup a day.

    Hi Queen_B,

I'm due 7th April and am team blue, would love to be added to the list. As you can see in my previous post I had a rough time first time round and am very apprehensive about this time. I am being very well looked after, already seen consultant 3 times and seen midwife 4, got 3 growth scans due to previous pre eclamsia and currently debating about my birtb plan. Been told I do need to be at consultant led unit and not just the midwife led unit.

Just hope the next weeks fly in, only 2 more shifts at work then using my holidays up and going straight onto maternity leave.

    Happy New Year everyone x

No problems missty I've added you to the list. :)

I'm really pleased that you are being looked after, have no advice to offer whatsoever as this is my first pregnancy but I can't imagine how hard it is to have another pregnancy after having bad experience. My SIL had a dreadful and traumatic labour with her first child and has vowed never to have any more children again as she is petrified of the same things happening again.

I can report that the RLT tasted ok, have a few more tea bags left so will continue and providing there are no bad effects by the weekend I will go out and buy some more.

PM me if you would like to join it :)

*secret in it is a closed group, so that nobody can see what you post in it.

HEllo, nice to see many commenting and joining in !!:j

I had a boring day today and the same tomorrow, all day in waiting for courier to arrive to return something.
Heartburn is killing me and on top of that i started to have contractions on and off, since being told my baby is back to back i am growing even more scared of labour. My 1st labour back to back with dd was so long and painful. i sort of want them to tell me on friday in my scan that my placenta is still low and they will book in me in for a c section lol.. i am so unconfortable right now!

Fingers crossed Rups my darling xxx

Welcome newbies! I shan't be staying here long as my little one has arrived but will pop back to check on you all.

Dewi's MRI might not be until next week :( but we are hopefull having a head scan tomorrow which means... we can leave the hospital and have the MRI as an outpatient! Could be home as early as tomorrow afternoon but I'm trying not to get my hopes up ><
