chonorla thanks for all your advice
I've heard it can take time and I'm worried about feeling tired & pain. Also me pelvis is now really painful so can hardly walk which isn't going to help :-/ Yep it's my first hence nerves - congrats on all your babies!
I think it's always difficult to judge baby movements, I've been on the monitor many timers now and Walnut always moves away as they don't like it! If I get worried I lie down and count the kicksPrevious debt: £14K :embarasse Debt free: Sept '03MFW#42 Mortgage OP savings £4271.18/£12000 2019

Right everyone send huge labour vibes to baby savage! Maybe collectively we can think him/her out?! Keep jumping savage :j:j:j Got everything crossed it happens naturally or at the very least with the pessary.
I'm feeling quite a bit better just hoping for a good sleep and hoping the cold vanishes or is not so bad by tomorrow. Bit of pressure in the pelvis - I'm hoping it stays down so I'm going to try and sit with a really nice posture all night and sit up asleep if I have to so the baby doesn't get comfy and move back up! Stay down baby moneypenny!0 -
Well, hospital again today, baby was uncooperative when they were heartbeat monitoring (asleep by the looks of things) so I was on it quite a while before they had enough variation to be happy. Then scan again for fluid around the baby (fine) and a sweep (fine - apparently I'm 1-2 cm dilated). Although if nothing happens tonight my home birth is off
Bit fed up really, everything is fine with me and baby. Now booked for an induction Saturday morning which is what I really don't want, it seems the deal is pessary for 24 hours, which will soften up your cervix and (may) start labour - this bit I'm OK with; after that they break your waters (which I don't want) and then stick you on the drip to get your contracitons going (ditto). At least OH is allowed to stay with me 10-8 even when not in delivery suite. jonno - hope things have worked out for you!
Hi savage. Hope things are moving for you or they do so before Saturday. Still contracting nicely here, so fingers crossed. Know still have someway to go, but don't really want anything too exciting to happen before 10 as they are 1 MW short so unlikely they could get 2 to mehowever as its nearly 7 don't think that is an issue.
Hang in there, when I went to bed last night I thought there was no chance I would labour at home at all today, so you never know0 -
SavageHK - green and blacks chocolate sent me into premature labour last time - perhaps that might work? Or at least taste nice in the process of trying! (I can't eat the stuff now - never did finish that easter egg).
If anyone wants to pop me on the list - due date April 16th and it's a girl... my eldest is 1 on April the 9th... who's betting she gets a sister as a birthday present? I can sooo see it happening on the same day!Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
