Rups - Its the colustrum, so it is quite watery. The proper milk will not come in till baby arrives. So nothings wrong there if it looks like water!!!

Massaging them encourages them to leak even more.

Well, hospital again today, baby was uncooperative when they were heartbeat monitoring (asleep by the looks of things) so I was on it quite a while before they had enough variation to be happy. Then scan again for fluid around the baby (fine) and a sweep (fine - apparently I'm 1-2 cm dilated). Although if nothing happens tonight my home birth is off Bit fed up really, everything is fine with me and baby. Now booked for an induction Saturday morning which is what I really don't want, it seems the deal is pessary for 24 hours, which will soften up your cervix and (may) start labour - this bit I'm OK with; after that they break your waters (which I don't want) and then stick you on the drip to get your contracitons going (ditto). At least OH is allowed to stay with me 10-8 even when not in delivery suite. jonno - hope things have worked out for you!

Really hope something happens for you tonight Savage so that you can still have a home birth. I don't fancy an induction either....

Had a fright of my own today. Went to the drop in midwife clinic this morning to ask about my pelvic pressure, pulses and fanny daggers and mentioned the fact that baby has been very quiet for the past 3 days and before I knew it I was in hospital hooked up to a monitor. All is well with the trace but baby is still on the quiet side so they have asked me to keep monitoring it.

They really do err on the side of caution with baby movements Queen_B!
They keep telling me at practically every appointment that if anything changes to get in for monitoring asap. I've just concluded that sometimes baby has active days and sometimes not. Mine certainly isn't active 'all day' but that's usual for it, so I'm not too bothered. Its favourite time is evening on the sofa, guaranteed to get a disco going. Last night it wouldn't stop for a good 3 hours solid so figured it tired itself out and was napping when I had the monitoring done today!

I have had the odd quiet days previously but I must admit even I was a bit worried. Maybe I will have a quiet baby for the next 10 or so weeks but its so odd as baby has been very active for weeks, probably worn itself out, ha!
