  • Wish I'd paid more attention in my French classes 20 years ago!
  • Is anything happening with TB that I ought to know about? I joined them ages ago, had my 5 pieces checked (with a prod) and watched the rest of them just pile up unrated. Last week, I opened up my e-mails to discover over 40 from TB rating my work... Any reason for this flurry of activity?

Nope that's how they do it. :)
  • Hi all, I've just come across this and it does interest me greatly.

I plan to read the thread from the beginning when I get chance, I'd just like to ask if anyone here is rated as 5 star and what it takes to get this?

I've just signed up for this today. Hopefully I can make some money from it. Not overly confident about my writing ability, but that could just be because I've spent 4 years working with primary age kids so writing for a more "grown up" or "professional" audience may take a while to get back into :o:rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • How often do 3* orders actually come up? I've been signed up for a while and haven't seen a single one!

I'm not rated 5 stars but I did look into this a while ago and from what I remember they state that they reserve a 5 star rating for "professional writers" (whatever they reckon that means). I think they said that 4 star writers who do a lot of consistently high rated work (again, who knows exactly how much that is) will get bumped up to 5 stars. Don't think you can start off rated 5 stars though.
  • I've been on Textbroker since September and just got offered my very first Direct Order - so exciting! :D

Has anybody else noticed that the security cert for the site seems to have expired? Every time I log in for past few weeks it tells me its not valid.

It is still valid. Click on the padlock, its valid to the 30.12.13.

I can't believe I know how to do this! Entirely the result of my last writing project!
