Ah it was just because I had originally wanted to be a solicitor and had applied to study law before changing my mind, and appear to have retained a lot of info! I wouldn't have been able to write that quickly if I'd had to do more than brush up on prior knowledge!

Do let us know what TB say about those 3 articles!

    Will do!

Gah - just totally !!!!!d myself out and wrote an article on website design. 308 words for just over 2Euros, pah! But if all the articles I have outstanding are accepted, I can get my next payout...fingers crossed!

I wonder if text broker will freeze my account after another 5 articles? I've done 4 already. Hmmm.....
  • Oh crikey - it appears I swore. Sorry MSE!
  • Just heard back from Textbroker (am mightily impressed with how quickly they get back to me when I contact them!). The 3 writing samples do not contribute to your overall rating, but are useful for clients to read if they are looking for writers for team assignments.

So I think as a 3* its not really worth me writing them yet as from what I have seen, its 4* and up that are sought! Perhaps if I manage to up my game i'll pop some samples up there...

You're on fire! I re did the 2000 odd. Words as I had nothing better to do. The client accepted it and the only gave me acceptable! Cheeky sod! I've written 4 so far, 2 full marks, 1 yet to be rated but I think it'll get a good result and my 1 doom and gloom article! I imagine that will keep me on 3* for a bit longer  I wonder if the bigger clients mark low on purpose as it keeps a wealth of writers away from the bigger articles?? Or maybe mine was actually junk (twice) lol.
Some people don't exaggerate........... They just remember big!
  • I wouldn't worry too much Kiran, I don't think that the client feedback has much bearing on the Textbroker evaluation. My 4th and 5th articles were rated excellent and then good by the client, but both got 4* from Textbroker.

Not sure if anyone's up now but there's loads of 3* travel articles available currently :)

I've only had client feedback for one of my articles, which isn't especially helpful!!
