SchminkyCat wrote: »It might be less than minimum wage but at the end of the day its money in the bank. I can't go out and get a job as I have no childcare, so the chances of getting something that I can do from home, is 100% flexible, and that I can just drop if one of the children gets ill, AND that pays more than minimum wage is pretty slim.
Writing/blogging/Swagbucks etc is ideal for me because I can dip in and out during the day whilst the kids are busy with other things, or I can just leave it until they go to bed in the evening. I started with various things on the 14th June, and have gradually added a few more here and there. Since that point I have made almost £300 - enough for pay for one of us on our holiday in Oct!
Will check out Fiverr - thanks for the tip off!
Sorry, It wasn't me to be a dig, just a reminder of the work required to make a few quid. I also use fiverr.com both as a buyer and seller and the amount of work involved to make £200+ a month. It takes up a fair amount of your working day and the rewards aren't to great apart from the select few who have successful gigs using fancy tools to automate the process.

S'OK, I didn't take it as a dig, just wanted to explain why less than minimum wage was OK with me at the mo. There was a time when I wouldn't have got out of bed for anything less! lol. Wow - gone are the days where staying in bed is even an option - 2 kids = very early starts! (and a full time job that pays £zero!! lol)0

Ohhh my first article has been moved from 'waiting for acceptance' to 'rating by TB outstanding'
What does this mean? It says it's been rated by the client? How do I find this rating out (and what does the rating by client mean?)? x

If you go to your statistics page, and scroll down to where it says "listing of all articles", you should find it listed there (and in the ratings column you will see CL - for client). Click on the title of the article (which should be in orange). This will bring up a box with details about the assignment, including the client rating. Once Text broker have evaluated it, their rating will be seen here as well, along with any comments they have made for improvements.

Thanks Katini, have you heard anything back from textbroker or am I being too impatient and are they working closer to their 7 day estimate? Good luck to you too BTWkiss_me_now9 wrote: »Getting bored of waiting for my articles to be approved/reviewed... Lol, I'm so impatient!
I am so impatient also! Got 2 articles outstanding acceptance (but they should automatically accept today or tomorrow as it's now been 3 days since I submitted them) and obviously still waiting for TB to look at the 5 I've written and unblock my account. I want them to hurry up as I am only on my summer hols for a few more weeks and want to make the most of it as I doubt I'll be able to write so much once term starts!0 -

Hi Annie,
Have you done much work for them? Is there much available? What is the pay like? (was a bit concerned seeing that weekly payment starts at $0.01!!!)0 -

I've just registered on there and completed the base assessments and have just written a bit of copy for a well known voucher website for 2.20. I could make 28 euros if I sit here and write the 13 that are available to me (it gives you them one after the other) but I am too tired to do it now so will see what is available tomorrow. I think between clickworkers and TB we could probably find stuff to keep us busy!0 -
You're a star Katini - will hop on over and sign up! Thank you! xx0
